Charming Villa Francione - Private gardens and stunning views

  • Villa Francione is a two storeys design Villa by architect-engineer Arialdo Daverio.

    The Villa is surrounded by a planted garden of 3000 m² with fruit trees, berries and flowers. The living room offers a 270 degrees breathtaking view that does not ask to get in, yet the Villa is only 4 min walk to the lake and beach.


    There are three double bedrooms, one of them ensuite, and a single bedroom. Every room has a big wooden closet and two rooms have direct access on the garden.

    The hearth of the villa is the living room on the first floor, built to have a full panorama view on lake Orta and the San Giulio island.

    The villa also has a big covered veranda with lake view, a barbecue and a green open patio.

    It is surrounded by a 3000 squared meters private garden, which guarantees silence and tranquility. It is the perfect place for kids to play, and for adults to sunbathe, grill or relax to the view.

Villa Francione, Lake Orta

Very nice welcome from the house manager, Danila, who was helpful and charming. Villa was comfortable but it would have been nice to have had some basics in the kitchen such as olive oil, bread and milk, and soap/shower gel in all the bathrooms. Good restaurants nearby, beautiful scenery, delightful area.

A very nice house in a fantastic environment. Amazing view of mountains and lake and easy to get around, couldent ask for more. Excellent reception from Danila, the landlady. We will miss Pettenasco.

If you’re looking for a classic Italian small town/lake experience with a breath taking view, this is your place. The Francine is an older house with so much character and a story to tell. Our family of six loved our stay - especially the view and location. Pettenasco is the perfect base for exploring the charm of Italy by foot, bike, or for day trips by train, ferry, or car. Everything exceeded expectation and I’m still dreaming about the local pizza. Danila was such a joy to meet and incredibly intent on assuring our stay was everything we hoped for.

Nice big house with a beautiful view

We had a wonderfull time. We enjoyed the livingroom withe the beuatiful view on the lake. The kitchen was small buth well equiped. The american fridge was great with the ice cubes. We missed a microwave. The bethrooms were comfortable en nice to have 3 bathrooms.

Perfect

The location for enjoying the north lakes is perfect. The villa is incredible. Everything you need , just name it was there. Danila the hostes is so welcoming, every small problem or question , she is there even if it means come to us. The owner Gabriel also answered all very quickly. The view is one of a kind. You can see the all orta lake like in palm of your hands. A perfect place for the perfect holiday. Stayed 4 people for 8 days. Thank you for a perfect holiday

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Die Aussicht ist fantastisch, die Ausstattung ist für 9 Personen sehr gut und alles wichtige ist vorhanden. Toller Kühlschrank und sehr leiser Geschirrspüler.Gefehlt haben uns aber definitiv Mückenschutzgitter/Netze für Fenster und Türen. Es gab extrem viele Stechmücken und man konnte sich abends kaum draußen aufhalten und nachts zum Schlafen waren vor allem die Kinder sehr geplagt.Für geräuschempfindliche Personen (z.B. Babys) sei außerdem erwähnt, dass hinter dem Haus die Zugestrecke verläuft. Vor allem nachts fahren doch einige Züge hörbar durch.Die vielen Bücher und Zeitschriften sind sehr alt und zum Teil halb zerfallen und muffig. Da könnte man Mal Aussortieren...Insgesamt alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch in Ordnung. Das Schloss der unteren Gartentür lässt sich leider nur von Außen öffnen.Ein Doopelschlafplatz befindet sich im Flur hinter der Haustür als Klappbett, das war uns aus der Beschreibung heraus nicht klar.Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zur Verwalterin war sehr freundlich und die frische Pasta als Gastgeschenk ist wirklich etwas Besonderes und sehr lecker!Die Lage ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt in jede Richtung des Sees und der Ort hat alles Wichtige (Supermarkt, Eis, Strand, Spezialitätengeschäft)!Insgesamt ein Top Ziel und sehr empfehlenswert!

Alles da, jedoch könnte man einige Dinge entsorgen, die man nicht zum aktuellen Standard braucht.Es sind Dinge im Haus, man könnte meinen, dass der Hausbesitzer gestern noch hier gewohnt hat.Die Nähe zum See ist super. Wir waren 1 Woche da und brauchten kein Auto, alles ist vom Haus aus zu erledigen. Wanderungen, Supermarkt, See, Fahrradverleih und Restaurants, alles zu Fuß machbar.Haus ist für 7 Personen geeignet, so dass jeder sein eigenes Zimmer hat.Danila ist eine große Hilfe bei Aktivitäten und Fragen. Tolle Aussicht

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, gleichwohl die Bezeichnung Luxusvilla sich auf den Hauptwohnraum inkl des Panoramablickes bezieht. Beides macht den Umstand wett, dass manches in die Jahre gekommen ist. Vermieter(Kontakt) und Danila vor Ort sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sodass wir insgesamt eine erholsame Zeit hatten. Die Beurteilungen der vorherigen Urlauber sind aussagekräftig und waren hilfreich.

Atemberaubende Aussicht

Die Villa ist wunderschön gelegen, man hat einen großartigen Blick auf den See. Die Ausstattung ist super, weil es so heiß war, hätten wir uns allerdings doch eine Klimaanlage gewünscht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit einem Plan der Umgebung einschließlich Tipps versorgt. Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar, ebenso einige Badestellen am See. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Pettenasco! Herzlichen Dank!

Vue magnifique

Excellent séjour dans une vaste et lumineuse maison de famille très facile à vivre. En tous points conforme à l'annonce. Les 3 salles de bains étaient très appréciables pour notre famille de 8 personnes. Petites plages publiques à 10 mn à pieds. Accueil très chaleureux de Danila et Gabriele qui ont réglé rapidement nos petits problèmes et nous ont régalés de pâtes fraîches. Et la vue sur le lac est splendide. Un grand merci à nos hôtes !

Mooi huis met een waanzinnig uitzicht op Lago d'Orta!

Wij hebben een fantastische week vakantie gevierd met twee gezinnen in de vakantiewoning van Gabriele. De ontvangst door Danilia was heel hartelijk. Ze nam uitgebreid de tijd om ons alles uit te leggen en over de omgeving te vertellen. Op dinsdag heeft ze ons zelfs een pasta maaltijd gebracht, echt top! Het huis is mooi (je kan zien dat het door een architect is ontworpen) en het uitzicht over Lago d'Orta is geweldig, dat zullen we niet snel vergeten. Langs het huis loopt een spoorlijn. Vanwege de hitte hadden wij ramen en deuren 's nachts open (er is gern airco) maar daardoor wel veel overlast van voorbij denderenden treinen. In de omgeving is veel te beleven (natuurlijk het meer maar ook de waterval, rodelen, de markt in Omegna, en een boottrip naar Isola Bella zijn aanraders) en in het dorp Pettenasco zijn gezellige restaurantjes waar je goed en betaalbaar kunt eten! Het interieur van het huis is oud en biedt weinig comfort. Het enige moderne is de koelkast (en die is geweldig) en twee ligbedjes op het terras maar de rest is aan vervanging toe. Slechte bedden, slecht bankstel, geen comfortabele lounch meubels op het terras, geen horren voor de ramen (heel veel muggen en mieren). Voor een huis waar je zoveel geld voor betaalt mag je meer verwachten. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug maar om die reden niet in deze accomodatie. Het

On a bien profité du salon panoramique vraiment agreable. Les meubles (salon) sont "usés"

Le site nous a permis d'étre au calme, dans un village, à proximite d'Orta (remarquable) et du lac Majeur. La location de vtt à proximité ( Riccardo : parfait) est un plus. L'aménagement piétonnier du bord du lac à 200m de la villa est reposant. On peut discuter avec les jeunes du village qui prennent un bain. Sejour exquis ! alliant sport culture et contacts avec nos meilleurs cousins.

Fantastisch

Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man sich für den Urlaub wünschen kann. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig; die Terasse und der Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzplätzen sind wunderschön. Wir haben die köstlichen Erdbeeren frisch vom Garten sehr genossen. Beim einchecken war die Verwalterin sehr hilfreich und wir haben sogar für zweimal Abendessen Pasta geschenkt bekommen. Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub.

Außergewöhnliches Haus mit phantastischer Aussicht

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Inhaber und der Verwalterin Danila. Sie hat uns mit diverser frischer Pasta begrüßt und sogar eine Geburtstagsüberraschung vorbei gebracht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet alles, was man von einem Ferienhaus erwarten kann. Der große gepflegte Garten, die schöne Lage und die einmalige Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse auf den Ortasee machen den Aufenthalt unvergesslich.
