Overall, a pleasant stay but could benefit from a few improvements.
This is a pleasing place to spend a few days or a week. Rooms are large and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are OK. The walk-in showers were appreciated but, the master bathroom had low water pressure. The kitchen was not as well-stocked as other reviews would have you believe. The knife block had no sharp knives. Even the bread knife had difficulty slicing a baguette. Only one wine glass. All the other glasses were more for soda than an 'adult' beverage. The kitchen would also benefit from more utensils. One of the most noticeable things about the house was the amount of plastic. I understand that this is a rental property but, I would have expected the builders to have built it to a spec that is befitting the location. The entire 'brick' fireplace is plastic panels. I've never anything like it before. The dining table and chairs are plastic, not wood. Kitchen cabinets are low quality. Minor issues maybe but, it cheapens such a nice house, particularly one that commands a high rent in peak season. I think that not providing a garage door opener is a 'miss'. I suspect that they may have provided one previously but too many went missing. The driveway is steep and winding but, it was well plowed. At least the listing clearly warns people of it so, one really should not complain about it as others have done. We have stayed in 40+ rental houses, in many different countries. Overall, I would give this a 3.8. I doubt that we'd return.

Could have been fine but….
When we arrived there was no Kleenex or bars of soap. There were no instructions about how to use anything. No remote for garage door, no remote for the gas fireplace that is the main feature of the living room. Literally half of the lights did not work. There was no light in the bedroom closet. I contacted the property manager 4 times via email and once by phone. Non responsive except to say she was having trouble with her email. There were weeds in the planters and the grass hadn’t been mowed in a long time. On the plus side, the house was clean and there were paper towels, laundry detergent and dish washer pods. The beds (two of them we slept in) were very comfortable though the pillows weren’t great.

Cozy home nestled in the woods
Beautiful home, perfect for gathering with family and friends for a ski vacation. Three spacious bedrooms all on separate floors; each with its own full sized bathroom. The main floor has a large table and barstool area which provided plenty of space for dining. The driveway could have been a bit tricky, but the property manager made sure it was properly maintained for our safety. Appreciated the ski rack in the garage, helped to keep everything organized. Great experience overall!

Disappointing
This place has potential but it has been managed badly. We discovered ants in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. We also had to deal with flies on a daily basis. This was advertised as an upscale place but for what we paid, it fell short. The owner, however, was very upset about our issues and was extremely attentive in trying to remedy the problems.

Nice Home!
Overall, the house was very nice and clean. Beautiful windows and privacy which was a plus! Just a couple issues with our stay. The home stayed almost unbearably cold. I’m sure its just a matter of resetting the thermostat but it made our stay uncomfortable. Secondly, all the sofa beds are NOT actual beds. More like couch cushions that roll out on the floor. This was unfortunate because we were expecting everyone to have an actual bed. Lastly, and perhaps most important, the driveway is extremely steep. When we stayed it was snowing pretty badly. Even with a SUV we almost slid off the driveway a couple times. (We’re seasoned MI drivers) The owner reached out after our stay to see how everything went. I certainly appreciated that and her being open to feedback! I would definitely stay here again!

Winter Wonderland
Great family vacation! We arrived into a winter wonderland arriving while 7 inches of fresh snow was falling. Driveway was cleaned off early in the morning Which was super helpful because it’s very steep. The house looks to be redone recently, a great view from the open windows throughout the family room and kitchen. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook for a big family dinner. Beds were comfortable and ski slopes are close. Would definitely recommend this property.
