Exceptional Modern Meets Cabin Home Near Ski Resorts, Harbor Springs & Petoskey

The Woodloft Haus is a massive 4,000 square feet executive style home with 4 bedrooms plus sleeping loft and 3 bathrooms. It is situated on a beautiful 2 acre wooded lot. The home features mid-century modern meets up north cabin architecture which makes for a warm and inviting stay. The Haus is professionally deep cleaned by a local cleaning company after each guest stay.

***NEW for Summer 2024 ~ a lower-level complete renovation! The remodeled space has a sitting area for eight (8) with a new 70" TV, brand-new ping pong table and an updated foosball table. Last, but not least, the lower level now has a complete throwback arcade. Featuring Ms Pac Man, NBA Jam, Golden Tee, and others as well as a couple of pinball machines. We even put a couple blacklights in!

The Haus has all, American made, Whirlpool Stainless Steel kitchen appliances. Including; 5 burner gas range with Frozen Bake technology, French door fridge with filtered water dispenser and ice maker, high-capacity dishwasher, and over the range microwave. All new, American Made, Whirlpool high-capacity clothes washer and dryer.

The home comfortably sleeps 14 in beds. It has three (3) HD LCD TV's with premium cable; ESPN, FSD, HBO, Showtime, and more. The home also has the following for guests to enjoy: Massive DVD collection, Table Tennis, Foosball and board games in the expansive finished basement.

The neighborhood connects with the Little Traverse Wheelway. The "Wheelway" is a 24 mile paved bike path from downtown Harbor Springs through Petoskey State Park, Downtown Petoskey, Bay Harbor and concluding in Charlevoix. The "Wheelway" offers postcard-worthy views of Lake Michigan as it snakes around the natural curve of Little Traverse Bay.

The home is also located close to Boyne Highlands Ski and Golf Resort, Nub's Nob Ski Resort and Little Traverse Bay Golf Club. It's less than 1 mile from Trip Advisors #1 Place to eat in Harbor Springs; The Polish Kitchen. Also, Pond Hill Farm is only a short car ride away. Pond Hill Farm has everything for the family to enjoy - petting zoo, garden, wine tasting, beer tasting, etc.

Beautiful place

It was a great experience for us we drove over 5 hrs to get here and it worth every second Beautiful house , it’s huge room for everyone we loved it Hope we can come back in the summer!!!

Great place to stay

Although this house is a little bit further away from the ski resorts, the amenities make it worth the extra 5 to 10 minute drive. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms all maintained in great condition. Large family room to gather in with a wood burning fireplace. Excellent basement entertainment. Will definitely be back many times more.

Woodloft Home

This is just a wonderful home...super close to Petosky, Harbor Springs and ski resorts. It works well for large groups, beds are comfortable, kitchen has it all, fireplace is nice and the 4 season glass porch is so nice for viewing the wooded lot. Hope to stay here again without question

Great place, great location, great host!

Property was clean, well equipped and met all our expectations. Game room in the basement was a bonus for the kids! Ideally located between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Craig was very responsive when we reached out to him. Highly recommend!

Ski trip with family and friends

This house is perfect! We had so much fun on the game room basement playing ping pong and the arcade games. Lots of space and amenities. House was super clean and more than we expected. I would most definitely stay here again. Continently located to both the Highlands and Nubs Knob.

Great multi-family stay

We loved our stay at the woodlauft haus. It was perfect for our group of 13 including children. The house was very clean, had essentials for us to utilize during our stay. The house is very spacious and the arcade in the basement was a hit! We hope to come back! Great location with quick drives to the beach and nearby towns.

Great House and Location

House was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was nicely equipped and dining area was perfect for our large family group. Location is great and close proximity to Harbor Spring and Petoskey downtown areas. Place was also great for kids and plenty to do. Highly recommend.

Fantastic family get away in Harbor Springs

Wonderful cabin in the woods, just a 5 minute drive to Petosky State Park and a great Lake Michigan beach. Spacious gathering places, game room was a huge hit with the kids. My favorite was the screened in sun room off of the master bedroom- ideal for lounging and quiet reading! Craig was a very considerate host and property manager.

70th Birthday Week-End

The house was spacious for 6 women celebrating birthdays. Great location for exploring Harbor Springs and Petosky. We had beautiful weather so enjoyed the patio. Lots of good restaurants nearby and we even had great pizza delivered from BC’s on night. Would recommend for anyone who doesn’t mind stairs.

The gang weekend

Wonderful stay

This house is special to our family as my grandparents owned it 20 years ago and we spent much of my childhood up there. While it has been renovated, it still is a wonderful house and brought back a lot of memories! The game room was awesome for the kids and adults too! Close to both Harbor Springs and Petoskey, we spent time in both and also enjoyed the close walking/bike path. The sunroom was also a favorite to enjoy in the morning. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back sometime soon!

Amazing House and Location!

Seven of us stayed at Woodloft Haus this past weekend for our 24th annual ladies weekend. We enjoyed every aspect of our trip and would definitely return. The location is great...close to hiking, biking, swimming (yes, it was warm enough to swim at Petoskey State Park), shopping, wineries. The house had plenty of beds and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The sunroom was the perfect gathering place for our morning coffee before we started the day. Highly recommend!

Lovely Relaxing Week!

This place has plenty of space for our extended family of 11, with areas for quiet as well as louder fun. The wrap around deck was perfect for some outdoor rock painting, the large dining room table fit everyone and was easy to clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Similarly, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and extra towels in the upstairs closet. The second-floor laundry was perfect for the needs of the younger kids' parents. I highly recommend.

Thanksgiving at Woodhaus

We had family members ranging in age from 2 years to 78 years old celebrating Thanksgiving together. No snow, so sledding and skiing were not options, but visits to Pond Hill Farm, the Christmas tree lighting in Harbor, shopping, restaurants, etc. made for a fun time. The house is in a great location and it is perfect for a large group or multi-generational gathering. Lower level game area was loved by the younger set. I would definitely recommend a stay at Woodhaus

Family Vacation

The home was well appointed and we had all that we needed for both cooking and grilling. We didn't do a lot of that, but we like to. Also, it was appreciated that the internet was exceptionally good and that the TV had a full cable package. And, we like that the bike trail between Charlevoix and Harbor Springs was right at the corner. We had our bikes along and took several rides.

Beautiful Home!

Loved this property!! Pictures don’t do it justice! We absolutely loved sitting in the sun room watching the snow fall. The kids had a blast in the basement game room witch is way bigger then what’s pictured. Perfect location for skiing and getting to petoskey or harbor springs for dinner. Less then 10min to either location! Very clean! comfortable beds! The owner was awesome very accommodating and quick to respond. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

Relaxing and fabulous vacation house

We just spent a glorious week in a serene setting between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. There were 13 of us ranging from 3yo to 56yo. My husband, our 4 adult children with 3 spouses and 3 grandchildren, plus a close family friend were very comfortable. The house is probably the cleanest I've ever rented. It is very spacious with enough areas that at no time were we on top of each other. The dining table is huge! Appreciated for our group. Kitchen very well provisioned. Supplies of dish soap, paper towel, garbage bags etc all stocked. A working blender! Copious amounts of glasses and plates. Only thing lacking was a 9x13 pan, but seriously I can't really complain when everything else was so great. My family really enjoyed the ping-pong, pinball machine and Wii. Beds were comfortable and towels fluffy. Craig responded quickly to any questions. He even brought a vacuum over when the one in the house wasn't working well. The location is perfect and as described. My daughter and son in law went on several bike rides on the trails and into town. I can't imagine a better rental!

The house was large with great views out the windows. The beds were a little too soft for my taste. We loved the finished basement with the huge tv and games.
