Wyndham Costa Del Sol Lima Airport

6/10 Okay

"The hotel is near the old airport, not the current active one. So the name is a bit misleading. However, they operate free shuttle every 30 mins, so it works out if you give additional time. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful, but the pool, jacuzzi and other amenities are not great. The breakfast is included, but it is very average. They charge 50% more for early checkin or late checkout, which I found was very excessive for an airport hotel. Overall, it is good for a short sleepover, but not worth the price point."

"Such a wonderful experience at the Sonestra, close to food and pharmacies, as well as being able to call a taxi. The staff were incredible and friendly. Highly recommend staying here. The bed was a bit firm, and the pillows are only feathers and they have decent wifi and English Direct TV. The breakfast was pretty good, enough to satiate your stomach for a full day of adventuring."

"Great location in a beautiful and safe area, with a lot of embassies around and a short walk to the path along the sea. About half an hour walk to Miraflores. Very clean and stylish place. Fantastic breakfast with a great variety of food. Lovely small heated pool on the rooftop. It was a bit noisy ( sounded like a buzzing noise from a generator) but when the music from the bar was playing you couldn't really hear the noise. Nice steam sauna and jacuzzi. Be aware that you have to book it in advance and you can only use it for 30 minutes. We loved our stay so much that we stayed here again on our way back from Machu Picchu. Brilliant value for money! I would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was okay, staff was a little on the frigid side. Didn't go out of their way to please you. The breakfast was the same every day, not exactly appetizing. More like an extended version of an American continental breakfast. The gym was nice but I didn't try the pool. The bed was good but the pillows were lumpy. All in all not a bad place, just not great."
