Centre City Hotel

Posted 13-Sep-2016
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Provision for more amenities in room.
Location: Closely located to rail/bus facilities & just a short walk to CBD.
Pensione Hotel is located near the centre of the City which was great for us as we were out sightseeing all day. Major disappointment was the lack of eating facilities. No provision for breakfast but some meals could be obtained from the bar next door. There was no provision for plates, cutlery, etc in the room for making our own breakfast. Room was smaller than we expected - no room for the cat!!

Good situation

Staff were unfailingly helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped. We were close to the city centre but in a quieter zone. We would definitely stay there again.

Just passable

Posted 29-Aug-2016
Pros: Bed and location.
Cons: More cutlery (plates, forks, knives). Microwave would be great.
Location: Very central location, easy access to Perth city, very hard to find street parking.
Room was clean and had basic requirements however no luxuries. Best thing about the room was the king size comfortable bed. However the room was very tiny and barely had any space outside of the bed, tv and cupboard. Room didn't have any cutlery besides a single teaspoon and mug. While location was very central to the city, this meant that the curtains had to be kept closed. Bar downstairs was very noisy and could be heard on the second floor. Overall, the room is livable for short stays however overpriced for the offering.

Quite noisy at night.

Posted 25-Aug-2016
Pros: The staffs were helpful.
Location: The nearby Korean restaurant and Japanese ramen restaurant are good.
Everything there was OK, except it's quite noisy at night. One night a black guy knocked my door and disturbed my sleep.

Comfy Bed

Posted 23-Aug-2016
Pros: The staff and the bed.
Cons: Accessibility to the front desk from the main st.
Location: It's in Perth CBD - so, pretty much everything.
The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were always eager to assist with random questions (from a tourist, as well) The bed and pillows were so very comfortable. The room was updated, and very clean bathroom. Excellent for the price! It's under construction, but they warn you, and it's only worked on between 9 am and 6 pm. Also - the steps up to the front desk are very steep. I couldn't find a way to get to the front desk by elevator (though there may have been one)

The room was a little smaller than expected but the bed was extremely comfortable.
