Central hotel, great for short stay

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Perfect location in heart of Perth city, surrounded by great cafes and bars. Studio had a great little kitchenette with everything you would need for a short stay. Bath was great, too. Bed very comfortable. A few cracks in the wall and carpet stains/tears - it is probably due for some small upgrades but none of these factors affected my stay in a negative light. Staff were fantastic.

Nice hotel and rather clean (but did saw a cockroach in a cupboard). 10 minutes walk to city centre. Only 3 or 4 parking lots so have to book ahead for it. Advertised washer/dryer in room but only washer in my room.

Generally convenient location for a few days sightseeing in Perth. Stops for most of the CAT free buses that get you about central Perth are nearby. Can walk to Barrack St jetty/Elizabeth Quay area in about 15 minutes. Large room, quiet location. Average decor but all the essentials there, clean and working and overall about what you would expect for one of the low service style hotels now becoming more common at this value price point Would use again.

great location

Posted 28-May-2016 on Hotels
have been to Perth on 7 occasions and stayed at 5 hotels. This was by far the absolute best for me and I will be back. Spacious studio apartment with everything I needed including washing machine and small compact clothes horse. Cooking facilities and crockery cutlery, although I really only heated in the microwave. IGA 2 blocks away and a cafe downstairs if needed (I didn't.) The location is close enough to walk to the new Elizabeth Quay and the Hay St/Murray St mall but there is a free cat bus on the corner. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful with bus timetables and the general touristy things. Checkout was simple. The only downside was the entry stairs but the staff helped with the bags. There is a lift but unless you know where it is, it's not obvious.

Nice hotel location close to City centre.

Pros: See above.
Cons: There is a parking charge of $28 per day.
Location: Nice, central location for sight-seeing, shopping, dining, cafe hopping, etc.
We booked 2 rooms for eight nights' stay. Comfy room and quiet environment. Staff were helpful and courteous.
