Castaway Cottage by Bailey Vacation Properties is located inside a quiet neighborhood in Perdido Key, Florida with PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS for the neighborhood AND backyard access to BOATING ON THE OPEN WATER. The neighborhood is surrounded by the sanctuary of PERDIDO KEY STATE PARK, which adds to the peacefulness. Come relax on the uncrowded beach, swim in the PRIVATE HEATED POOL, dip in the HOT TUB, fish off the backyard TREX dock, hit the volleyball around, practice on our PUTTING GREEN and park YOUR BOAT or a RENTAL Boat on the water right in the backyard! The house has been remodeled throughout and has all new furniture. PRIVATE HEATED POOL, Trex decking throughout, and lovely interior. For large groups, see VRBO #1470646 which is our property next door that sleeps 20\. We have three other houses in the neighborhood as well. For your beach outings, we provide an Icemaker, a cooler with wheels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys, and a wagon with off-road tires to tote your belongings. It met all of our needs, very well stocked kitchen, plenty of beds for 10 adults, and an ice maker that actually works! We loved the house and we loved the area! The house is overflowing with amenities that we underestimated (ie. beach chairs- there are many, they’re fancy, and they’re brand new)! There is a lot of beach gear which makes beach days super easy. The refrigerator by the pool area is full-size, which is nice to know for large groups! There where plenty of activities included that kept us entertained the entire trip. We loved our time this week at Castaway Cottage. Lindsey was super responsive. The house has everything you need. Its location is perfect. The beach access felt entirely private. Highly recommend! Location was excellent - very quiet; easy to get to the beach and also right on the waterway. Had all the amenities you'd expect, lots of stuff for the beach, kayaks and paddle board were awesome - a big hit with the kids. House was very clean, and came stocked with anything. Gave them 1 recommendation on something they should have in the kitchen, and they Amazon'd it the very next day for arrival.Communication with the owner was fantastic and very responsive. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Easy location to restaurants and shopping. Pool was great along with the boardwalk/ dock that we pulled the boat up to. Very peaceful, safe setting. We took our family down to Perdido Key and stayed here for a week. The house was just as described, clean, and everything we wanted out of a 'vacation spot'! Being able to heat the pool was great being we were coming down late February / early March! Kids spent a lot of time swimming. Pickleball / tennis courts so close were a huge hit! The beach was also a short walk away and had beautiful white sand. I'd recommend to any family with young children. The home had many items a family with young children may need, such as plastic dishware, beds for the kids, and sand toys. The place also had a full size fridge near the pool for drinks with a huge ice machine that ensured our coolers and beverages stayed cold. We loved the private pool and the short walk to the beach was easy. We had an issue at the beginning of our stay that wasn't really the fault of the host. Our concierge, Lindsey, was quick to address the issue and was very responsive. At the end of the day, you don't want to have issues on vacation, but when you do, you hope for a quick response and fast resolution.
