While we’re excited for the improvements, we want to be transparent that we do not yet know the full impact this work may have on Palafox-facing units, including potential noise or other environmental effects. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property was excellent and the property was as described. Great surroundings and amenities. We used the gym and walked across the street for good coffee in the mornings. However, the property is across from a very raucous bar that is packed from 8:00 pm till 3:00 am. The crowds are loud and in the street, along with the music. Apparently the thing to do if you are young and in Pensacola is to drive by the bar and rev your engines all night. When this happens, the crowd comes into the street and cheers. Sleep was near impossible. And, kudos to the bar, they pressure wash and clean the street, at 7:00am. This too, prohibits sleep. I would stay at the property again, it was great, but I'd have to be in a unit on the parking lot side of the building. The owners must have known, but didn't disclose. It's wonderful to have an elevator, because most don't. You can walk to many very good restaurants, clubs, galleries, museums, and parks as well as the bay waterfront. The area is like a slice of New Orleans.
