This a spacious 2 bed apartment in the Mews of an Inn on the southern end of lake ullswater in glenridding. The location is very convenient to the small village and hiking trails. The apartment did not have a view, but was well suited for spending time in the area. We were there mid September so late in the season, and the pricing was great value especially compared to london. Coming from the US, the washer/dryer in one appliance takes some getting used to (it took several hours to do a mid sized load, and was hard to figure out how to use for us at least). The kitchen could be slightly better equipped with nicer utensils and pans, but was more than adequate! Overall, would highly recommend staying here, due to size, location, and overall quality. An excellent value!

Lovely apartment, everything you might need and more! Quiet, dark bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, space to eat, stunning scenery, easy reach of Penrith and some amazing places to visit, I could go on and on. We stayed during a family wedding at Inn on the lake, and the apartment is in the grounds, opposite the reception bar. The only thing I could say to bring it down slightly for some people would be the entrance steps, not a problem for us and were well lit and clear. Couldn't have asked for more. Simply beautiful.

Amazing location, smart apartment

Arrangements worked well, the owner was very helpful, and the apartment was well-equipped - and at least as good as described. The adjacent hotel and its garden was a great benefit. And the scenery and walks that are possible from the door are amazing.

Fabulous stay at UllswaterWe had family staying in the Hotel as we were all at a family wedding. We enjoyed our stay here which was value for Money when you look at the hotel prices, everything about our stay was perfect, we couldn’t fault anything and we were a family of 5 with a baby, so not the easiest to accommodate, we will be looking to stay again if we’re ever in the area.
