"Clean, comfortable room. Overall the property was inviting and professionally run. Located right at the southern edge of the Old City, so access to the main restaurants as well as the Cathedral is a super easy stroll. 10-14 euro taxi ride to the Zaragoza train station."

Three weddings, an anniversary in castle heaven

"A break in journey between Bilbao & Javea, also our 51st anniversary. I told the hotel of this and there was a bottle of good cava chilling in our room and red ‘flower petals’ scattered on the floor. I had expected a charge but there wasn’t. Three weddings were being celebrated that day so lots of excitement but zero inconvenience or disturbance. I was a little concerned that the Castillo effect might be a bit tacky but it is a tremendous atmosphere, with grandeur and attention to detail. Dinner was great, staff lovely, especially Elizabeth in the dining hall What more can I say other than I look forward to my next visit ! "

"This was a lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and whisked our luggage upstairs whilst we booked in. The room was a good size (Premium) and the bed lovely and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk away from the old centre and the restaurants within that area but the hotel recommended places for dinner within and without that area taking into account our requirements. We would recommend booking for breakfast as it was very impressive. "
