Had a wonderful weekend stay at Christopher Cabins with a group of girlfriends! The place was very easy to find and very clean and cozy for the 5 of us. It’s well located, not far from Payson, with the creek in the backyard. It was very well equipped for our needs and we even enjoyed the fire pit! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in nature.
Clean and cozy cabin with great amenities! Check in process was easy. Interactions with owner we easy and pleasant. Great hiking trails close by, a nice family owned market and restaurant next door on either side which was so convenient. Mogollon Rim 12 minites away, a must see! We'd love to come back and cisit again with family!
What is the third year staying here. We stay in a two bedroom two bath. The cabin is new. It is exceptionally clean and quiet. Surrounded with beautiful pine trees. The staff is very good at responding to text with questions. It is fully staffed with everything you need for the kitchen, bathroom, etc. It is an excellent place to stay
A very cute, cozy cabin. It's laid out well and roomy enough, the beds are comfy. Plenty of linens, soap, toilet paper and accoutrements for the kitchen. A complimentary bottle of wine and commemorative glass was a nice surprise.
It's very private, the patio is wonderful, private and close to the creek. The whole property is nicely kept with some nice community spaces.
Will definitely recommend to friends and family
This cabin was an absolute dream. Without a doubt, it was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed — spotless from top to bottom. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the kind of place that instantly puts your mind at ease. It truly felt like we’d discovered a hidden treasure. The location couldn’t be better. Just steps away, the store next door had everything we needed — super convenient. And don’t miss Mary’s pies! They’re a must-try and easily some of the best we’ve ever had.Right next door, the restaurant was another highlight. The salads were fresh and delicious, and the outdoor seating made for a perfect dining experience under the sky.I can’t wait to come back. This place has everything you need for a quiet, beautiful escape — we’re already planning our next trip!
We left the city to getaway for a few days to enjoy some peace & quiet and fresh air. However, it wasn’t peaceful or quiet this time. There were three construction guys cutting and nailing early morning till about late afternoon for both days we stayed. Talking loud and smoking around our cabin, while we were trying to enjoy our anniversary. Our favorite part of visiting this place is to enjoy having breakfast outside while enjoy the creek view. For 2 days all we heard was construction outside our cabin. Very disappointed and we did not enjoy this gateway.
We had such a great time staying here. The cabin was clean (as were the entire grounds), great location, the host went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful weekend in the cool weather. The cabin was amazing!!

The cabin is nestled right on the creek. The way the cabins are set up, you have quite a bit of privacy between units.

very small, manager confused
I was very disappointed when the manager informed us upon arrival that she just showed the "trailer" to someone else thinking we were not going to show up. We arrived an our before check in The place is extremely small just enough space for 2 people no privacy, the other trailer very close. The inside is clean, looks new but not what I expected for the money I paid. I had to leave the same day.

Really nice cabin with all you need for a pleasant stay. We were just 2 people so we had plenty of room. Surroundings were nice and quiet. Pots and pans could use updating but still fine for a few days. Nice distance from town - not too far, not too close. FYI: On Saturday the restaurant/bar next door had a live band that played until midnightish. They were really good, but not our thing. Ear plugs would have been nice. Wouldn't keep us from staying here again though.
This is an ideal location for families looking for a short drive from Phoenix. I was surprised by the small-town feel and also some great food. The cabins and the host were awesome. The weather in summer is great with temps ~25 degrees lower than the valley.
Brought my family here to escape the heat. We loved the cabin! It was very clean and cozy. It had everything we could ask for!
Perfect for a small family.
Bob was amazing and the cabin was perfect. It’s in great shape, clean and cozy. You can hear the creek running from the patio. It has a gathering area with cornhole, a TV and a small park for the little ones. We will definitely be staying there again.
The cabin wasn’t ready for us right away, but Robert was quickly able to move us to another cabin that was equally as nice. Despite this minor inconvenience, everything was wonderful. Cabins were both beautiful, clean and super relaxing. Would stay again!
