Generally, it was too.cept that I went during the start of the Buddhist lent which was really insipid activity. Nevertheless the farang(maybe owner was friendly. The room was big and very kische in nature. A side note was the incessant mosquitoes which gave a very uncomfortable stay, throughout the 2 days I was covered in itchy welts. this must be solved at least in the VIP studio. There was definitely an issue with the importance considered for hotel guests. I asked to look at the pool and was told there was a function which I as far I could tell were drinking aside and I could have just went in and surveyed the pool. Unfortunately at 10pm, they told me to come back at 1am to look at their pool. Highly inappropriate response.
Also, another discomfort was the detachment of service rendered during departure. I assume that the lower period during lent meant that there was less staff around but no one was there for me to check out. I was later attended to by whom use to service my room safe. He was uninterested to say the least in helping me get a taxi and asked if I wanted a motorbike ride with my luggage!??! Of which he flagged down a tuk tuk which was asked for seemed an interesting amount to ride on. The hotel staff before me agreeing just walked away. I guess that's hospitality for you huh. Would I come back, no it seems to have a preferential treatment for farang.
