Insgesamt waren wir 10 Tage in der Ferienwohnung mit bis zu 6 Erwachsenen und 2 Kinder (1 und 3). Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und waren von der Größe der Wohnung sehr positiv überrascht. In der Wohnung und im Garten ist von der Küchenausstattung über Bücher und Spiele, bis hin zu Grill, Bierbank, Schaukel und Sandkasten echt alles vorhanden was man möchte. Bei fast täglichen Grillabenden konnten wir unsere wirklich sehr nette Vermieterin noch besser kennen lernen und kamen sogar in den Genuss von frisch gemachten Apfelstrudel. Die Lage der Wohnung ist auch super. Mit dem Rad sind es ca. 10 Minuten in die Innenstadt von Passau und 3 Minuten zum Stausee. Zum großen Stausee an der Ilz sind wir ebenfalls per Rad gefahren. Ebenfalls empfehlen können wir eine Kanutour auf der Rott, bzw. dem Inn. Wir haben die Kanus beim Dschungelcamp in Neuhaus am Inn geliehen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, war sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und rießengroß. Man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Für die Kinder gab es jede Menge Bücher, Spiele und der Garten lud ebenfalls zum grillen und spielen ein. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr schön und idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge. Frau Abelein ist eine sehr freundliche Frau, die das Herz am rechten Fleck trägt. Wir haben eine interessante Kräuterkunde erhalten und Frau Abelein hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für uns.Eine bessere Gastgeberin kann man sich nicht wünschen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Unsere liebe Gastgeberin hat uns freundlich empfangen und war bei Fragen immer hilfsbereit und auskunftsfreudig. Ihre graue Katze, den General, haben wir richtig ins Herz geschlossen. Die Wohnung ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Touren in die Umgebung. Der kleine Ort Hals bietet ein wundervolles historisches Ambiente. Das abendliche Bad in der idyllischen Ilz war täglich ein gelungener Abschluss. Eine Küche, groß wie ein Wohnzimmer, darin ALLES enthalten - von der Kaffeemaschine über Schnellkochtopf und Gewürzen, über Toaster, Mikrowelle und Pfannen, Gefrierfach, Behälter zur Mülltrennung - der Platz hier reicht nicht aus! Im Badezimmer Waschmaschine, Trockner, Handtücher, sogar Duschgel und mehr, eine große Badewanne, natürlich Dusche, Bidet; mehrere Schlafzimmer; 2(!) TV-Geräte in der Wohnung, Bücher en masse, großer Kleiderschrank, kurz: Raum wie in einer Suite! Schöne Teppiche auf sauberen Parkettböden in fast allen Räumen erhöhen den Wohlfühlfaktor. Dazu Frau Abelein ist eine herzliche, hilfsbereite, Fragen stets aufgeschlossene Hauswirtin. Sie gibt sehr gute Tipps zur Stadt Passau und zu ihrem Steckenpferd "Wildkräuter" mit deren mannigfaltigen Wirkeinsätzen. Wir haben uns überaus wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienwohnung - samt Vermieterin :-) - absolut weiterempfehlen. Sie Pros: Die Wohnung liegt im Dachgeschoß des gepflegten, ruhig gelegenen Hauses und ist sehr großzügig. Sie ist gemütlich eingerichtet und umfassend ausgestattet. Von Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Trockner bis hin zum Ceranfeld-Herd mit Backröhre und Schere mit Pflaster auf der Fensterbank in der voll ausgestatteten Küche findet man alles, was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Das Bad mit WC bietet Dusche und Wanne. Der Balkon ist lang, aber etwas schmal und blickt Richtung Nachbarhäuser. Mit dem Rad ist man über wenig befahrene Nebenstraßen in 10 Minuten in Passau, zu Fuß braucht man in etwa die doppelte Zeit. Einen Bäcker und Metzger findet man in Hals sowie eine Gaststätte, die ab 17.00 Uhr geöffnet hat. Eine weitere Gaststätte findet man an der Triftsperre, ca. 40 Minuten zu Fuß Ilzaufwärts. Für Obst, Gemüse usw. muss man nach Passau, Tiefenbach oder Grubweg fahren. Ersteres geht mit dem Rad, die letzteren beiden Optionen nur, wenn man gerne bergauf fährt. Die Vermieterin kümmert sich fürsorglich und sehr freundlich um ihre Gäste.
