Good hotel for short stay
This is an older hotel, no frills. Perfect for our one night stop over in Passau. I had booked the family room as it was my husband, son and I traveling. Upon check in we were told that this specific room was not available but they gave us two adjoining rooms instead which suited us just fine. The gentlemen at the check in was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are TINY and definitely could use a little updating but the beds are comfortable enough and everything was clean and in good working order. FYI our room did not have air conditioning, not sure if any of the rooms have it? But we were lucky enough to have cooler weather and just opened the windows. Overall good for an overnight but much too small for a longer stay.

Hotel was utilitarian - comfortable beds but smallish room; lovely staff and good breakfast but a fair way from the picturesque part of Passau.

Achtung Leute,
laßt euch nicht verführen. Warum ist Best Western hier eingestiegen. Das Haus entspricht nicht dem, was man sich unter Best Western vorstellt. Die für Häftlinge in deutschen Gefängnissen erforderliche Mindestfläche wird nur geringfügig überschritten, allerdings mit Dusche. Nachts werden in der Gegend unerlaubte Rennen gefahren. Das freundliche Personal möchte ich aber besonders erwähnen

Hotels.Com missed to send my reservation and i had to stay by the reception around midnight for 45min with my baby crying. Expedia transferred me 3x and it was an absolute disaster. Hotel staff was nice and helpful.

Sometimes there is no free parking lot closely but further in the large parking area so you gotta walk with your luggage. Unless you do logistics like bring luggage down then come and pick them up at the entrance. Tricky to fix that if you alone. Otherwise very nice and cozy inside.

everything was great but the room was a little small. Also it would have been better if the hotel entrance was on the first floor. It didn't matter if the room was on the first floor. The breakfast was excellent.

Next to noisy supermarket carpark
The reception staff were off-hand and unfriendly and not helpful, although the kitchen staff were much better. The so-called “Junior Suite” did not have a frig, mini bar, air conditioning, fan or decent room for suitcases. There was one teabag, not replaced on the second day, powdered milk sachets, small television and small towels which could be expected in a less expensive room but at the price charged not up to general expectations at all. That Best Western have put their name to this hotel is extremely disappointing as many people would book a room because of their name.

The hotel is out of town- noisy
At the time that we were there, there was a county fair ("Dult") going on, complete with amusement park and drunken Bavarians. The staff then provided us with an upgraded room facing a loud road. The hotel has no air-conditioning but opening the window was impossible due to the loud noise outside. The hotel is in a large shopping complex with Chinese/Mongolian restaurant and grocery/ department store(Kaufland), pet shop and cheap clothing store (KIK). The regular rooms are tiny. The full breakfast is worth paying the 8 Euros. A relatively cheap hotel - "you get what you pay for"

Great hotel with great front desk service
Comfortable room but suggest you request a quiet room due to truck and bus activity from very early. Weather was very hot and so was the room with only a desk fan for air circulation as the windows had to be closed due to the truck noise at the retail Centre below. The front desk staff were very obliging and helpful, always friendly and happy and communicated well in English.

Very small room, claustrophobic. One can hear someone in the next room doing whatever they were doing. Staff were trying to help but not well informed, leading to awkward moments. Would not go back to this hotel.

Perfect stop-over Location
We were on a road trip driving from Germany to Vienna. We didn't want to spend the whole day driving so we planned a half day with a stop at this hotel. The hotel has great parking, it's next to a restaurant and grocery store. The rooms are small, but have everything you need, and the price is great.

Very nice hotel
It was a very pleasant stay. I had a little problems with the orientation and finding the hotel, my GPS didn't point me the exact location but then I found Amedia, it was a little "hidden". I liked the location of the hotel, the surroundings were excellent, we had a great walk in the evening. The price was quite good, so next time I come to Passau there are many chances to stay at this hotel again.

Very good hotel shame about the Noisy Teenagers
The hotel was very good, alot better than expected. We were upgraded as I don't think they had many visitors. We had a flat screen TV in the room and good bathroom facilities. The beds were very comftable. The only issue is we were staying on a friday night and there were screaming teenagers outside who were racing cars in the carpark. This kept us awake pretty much all night. Very good hotel, shame about the noise.

It does what it's supposed to, clean and neat room, ideal as stopover on a long drive. I was given a smoking room for some reason, make sure to check on arrival or make remark at booking to avoid this.

You get what you pay for: Wir hatten bewußt diese außerordentlich preiswerte Unterkunft gewählt als Stop-Over mit Passau-Altstadtbummel. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber ordentlich, das Bad sauber aber kalt-grell beleuchtet. Als wir eintrafen standen in der Lobby zig leere Flaschen von einem Gelage. Das Industriegebiet drumherum ist nicht schön, aber nachts absolut ruhig. Beim Bäcker unten im Kaufland kann man preiswert frühstücken.

Günstig und Gut
Ich war schon vor 15 Uhr vor Ort und habe schon mein Zimmer bekommen und am Nachmittag gibt es sogar Kaffee, Kuchen und kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür auf dem Kaufland Parkplatz.
