Cozy, clean, and beautiful cabin!
My husband and I booked this cabin for Halloween weekend and we had an amazing time! The cabin was very clean, extremely cozy, and beautifully rustic. We are absolutely planning on coming back!
GPS does not take you to the cabin. Use a real map or ask locally for directions. Cabin is just as it looks in the pictures. Had a nice dinner cooked on the provided charcoal grill. Plenty of towels and extra blankets were provided. Had a minor issue but help was on the way immediately. Will definitely be back again soon.
Overall a nice cabin, but a few disappointments. Was expecting a propane grill, what was provided was an extremely small charcoal grill. Porch covered with bird droppings, and no place to hang clothing inside cabin and very limited shelf space in bathroom. Upside, very clean and organized inside, large yard, nice and peaceful, would rent again, but would bring a tailgate grill to cook outside.

Great peaceful cabin close to Parsons
We stayed there a week for the Picking in Parsons bluegrass festival. The cabin is cosy and well furnished, in a beautiful and peaceful place. The host was very helpful sending all relevant information in advance.
Great place. Very clean. Only thing I would say is that the online description does not mention that the stream behind the cabin is stocked with trout and you can fish right there! We had a great time at the fire pit.
Very difficult to find. Be sure to let visitors know it is still 6 miles from the memorial. GPS takes you to a garage. Definitely worth the confusing directions.
Stayed for a weekend for events at Blackwater Falls (30 min away). Owner stayed later at General Store so we could get cabin key and check in. Kids were first taken aback by the stuffed game birds and mounted deer head but the Netflix enabled TV and working WiFi distracted them :). Didn’t force issue with campfires or grilling out; food from General Store and Parsons Pizza and Depot Diner in town about 10 min away. It’s a beautiful little cabin and wraparound porch a great touch. Too wet to enjoy the outdoors and adjacent river (this time). But we’ll plan to be back.

Cannot wait to come back- great- what else is there? Wendell and Laura we're amazing
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, and neat. Check-in was easy as well. The only negative 2 things I can say. There was no soap for the shower and the mattresses were pretty bad. We both had a back-ache every morning when getting up. But other than that the location and the cabin was wonderful. We were there for a family reunion and I am glad that I found the perfect location.
This was a much needed quiet time for me and my significant other and our furry family member. Cabins are in eye sight of each other but you still feel secluded. The creek behind the cabin is a big plus. The only downfall is we did not have wifi or tv BUT we knew that was a possibility before renting even though it was listed as spotty. Overall we give this a 10 out of 10

over billed
My stay at Patriot Four in Parsons WV was ok. I have stayed at that facility 5 times in the past (Patriots Four) and always had a good experience. However, I have never I had dealings with you (Evolve). I hope I never deal with you again. You (Evolve) billed me 2 times once when I made the reservation in March though VBRO and again in July a month before reservation. Not only did you bill me two times but you also over billed. I am totally disgusted with you and your billing practices. I don't understand how or why!!! this happened. But I can inform you I will. There are places in and around Parsons to stay that are less expensive and have more amenities, guess I will be checking into staying at another place that Evolve has nothing to do with, thanks Evolve. I guess Patriots Four will be missing out .

billing
I was billed twice on my credit card one time in March and again in July. This is totally wrong. I have contacted Evolve Vacation Rental who billed me and have no luck at this time. The Manager of the St. George Patriot Four facilities has been very helpful and contacted Evolve also, however, we have not been able to resolve to billing. This is a terrible situation, and should NEVER have happened, firstly being over billed and second being billed twice. (why would any one want to be associated with Evolve). Also, Evolve has also increased the price of a stay out of propionate rate for the area. If I do not get this matter resolve (with Evolve) it will have a definite influence on my future to say at any Vrbo facility in the future. I have stay at this facility about 6 times BUT???!.

Idyllic with bed issues
We had been saying all day that this owner knew how to do the cabin right. Vintage memorabilia, pillows, electric water heaters, great outdoor space with nice furniture and fire pit. Even the creek access was shored up perfectly. Then night fell. We opened the pull out couch and it was ridiculously dirty with dead bugs. Put our own sheets on it. The actual beds were not much better. The mattresses looked like and felt like something from vintage store throwaway section. If we ever stayed here again, we would know to bring mattress toppers.
