Davis was just two miles South, with another fun shopping/dining area, and the local Shop & Save. Our plans involved hiking the state high peaks of MD and WV, and The Fox Den was very convenient. The only downsides of our stay include the noise from the upstairs renters—we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear their every movement and it lasted into the early morning hours. Location was near a lot of things to do. We went to Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rock and several other points of interest. While we were within walking distance to a few restaurants and bars, the unit is on a highway and I would not recommend walking anywhere at night. It had everything we needed in the kitchen except an air fryer. The neighbors up stairs were very nice. The only thing is that you could hear there every foot step. The Fox Den is by far one of the best places we have stayed! The attention to detail is amazing! The place seems as if it is brand new! Kitchen has everything you need, bathroom is well stocked and spacious and the beds are so comfy that I am planning on contacting the host for the brand! Loved playing PAC-Man and the outside area is a ton of fun!!
