The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. We used both bedrooms (with the trundle) and the sofa bed. No A/C as stated and as is normal for Europe, but fans were in each room, and the windows opened to a quiet courtyard. My only issue is that there is a lingering old-smoke smell that was not expected. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but to some it might be. It is an older building that I jokingly/lovingly refer to as an old French woman who is showing her age but was obviously a beauty in her glory days. The location is fantastic and a short 5-minute walk to the Opera metro station. There is food, drink, and shopping all over the area. We did a ton of walking, day and night, and always felt safe. Check-in and out was easy and very accommodating. I loved it with the only exception being the old smoke smell. ##### Andrea B. Walking from the 2nd floor flat to the Tullieries (10 min), Louvre (20 min), Eiffel Tower (40 min), Notre Dame (40 min), Sacre Coeur (45 min), the Mariah (45 min), and finishing with a stroll down the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triumph (1 hour) was perfect with plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way.
