First of all, it was in the most perfect location. Many charming restaurants and stores were all right there and the apartment was across the street from the metro. Additionally, the air conditioning was great as was the wifi. There was a full sized washer and dryer, a rarity for a Paris rental. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The managing agent made the check-in and check-out simple. The air conditioning and heating worked well, as well as the plumbing and electrical systems.The things that could use improvement:There were several stains and tears on the furniture. The freezer section of the refrigerator was frozen shut, making the freezer useless. In general, the apartment could use a fresh coat of paint due to the numerous scrapes, scuff marks and general wear.All-in-all we found this to be a decent apartment in a wonderful area. The management let me check in early and check out late for a small fee. They communicated with me very well. There were a number of good restaurants near by. The apartment is decorated in “shabby chic style” which is good but needs some attention to stains on sofa and cleaning of the many pillows. Some of the furniture was actually broken. It accommodated four adults and two young children. One couple found their bedroom sound proof but the other adult couple found the bedroom noisy. The children loved sleeping and playing in the two window alcoves. The website described it as having two bathrooms. One bathroom had an excellent shower and sink and one bathroom had a toilet. In North America this would qualify as one bathroom. The bathroom with the toilet did not have a lock on it so people needed to be good friends. The website had a pictures of the entrance with lovely green wooden door which looked like it was the entrance to a courtyard. The wooden door was no where to be seen. The entrance is indeed rather grungy.The owner was very quick to respond to the fact that clean linen was needed to be supplied but the cleaners when they brought it did not remove the other used linen from the cupboards. At the cost per night a little care and better cleaning is needed to make this a very good place for a family to stay. ##### Joy A.
