Property Details: This 145-sqm apartment is located on the 2nd floor without an elevator. There is a space that can be used as a living, dining or home office area. It is furnished with a sofa and a dining table and chairs. The apartment includes Wi-Fi, suitable for working from home and making video calls. The fully equipped kitchen has a sink, toaster, electric tea kettle, full refrigerator, stove, drip coffee machine, microwave oven, dishwasher and more. Full sets of dishes, cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots, pans and kitchen utensils. There is a clothes washing and drying machines for your convenience. An iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and broom are available. The apartment features three bedrooms, with one street-facing bedroom furnished with a double-size bed and a superior quality mattress, while the other two overlook the peaceful courtyard. Professionally laundered sheets, comforters, pillows and pillowcases are provided to you, as well as bath towels for each guest. The flat features two full bathrooms, both accessible via hallways—one equipped with a shower, bathtub, toilet, and sink, while the second includes a shower and toilet. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer plus complementary toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap to start your stay. Our guests’ safety is our top priority, which is why the flat is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each arrival. The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning, but portable fans can be provided upon request, subject to availability. Important Information and Policies \- Please inquire for more information about the cancellation policy. \- Check-in starts from 3:00PM. Late check-in fees may apply after 7:00PM (see below). Late check-in is subject to availability and it needs to be scheduled at least 24 h before arrival. The Third Arrondissement of Paris is also home to the Musee du Carnavalet, the Pompidou Center (Museum of Modern Art), Hotel de Ville and the Place des Vosges. You’ll also find the best falafels in Paris in this area. The Place de la Republique is also within walking distance. With its close proximity to the République (Lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11), accessing other areas of the capital is extremely easy. Just hop on a train to reach the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur and more! The Les Halles Station is within walking distance as well, giving you a quick link to Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports from central Paris. This charming flat exceeded our expectations! It’s more spacious than we thought, and we loved the architectural details, especially the floor-to-ceiling windows. The neighborhood is a perfect mix of urban and residential, giving us a taste of authentic Parisian life, away from the typical tourist crowds. The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a fantastic location — close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. The positives: The apartment is in a great location, just a couple of block from one of Paris' public squares with many shops and restaurants nearby. And the apartment was very clean and spacious. The dining room and living room are very spacious with large windows. Negatives: This apartment is hosted by a remote property management company. The qualification process to reserve the property was overly rigorous in my opinion. As for the apartment itself, it seemed like this was a new property that had not been tested out. For example, plugging in appliances into the kitchen shorted the electrical power which required me to flip the breaker in the fuse box to restore electricity to parts of the kitchen. There is also an oddly placed and steep staircase in a storage area which could be a hazard for children. This area should be disclosed and blocked off. And then we had a incident that was poorly handled by the host. We were locked out of our apartment because of a malfunctioning front door lock. We had to call a locksmith and the host refused to reimburse us for the charge. VRBO did a good job of attempting to resolve the issue but the host continued to refuse to reimburse us. ##### Brennan D.
