We are a family and loved our stay. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has amazing extra goodies such as a balloon magician during breakfast! The food was delicious and the property very clean! From check in to check out we enjoyed it
I chose this hotel for three features: the good reviews about the breakfast, the location near a major metro station and the promise of AC during the hot Paris summer. All three expectations were fulfilled and it helped make the family trip very convenient and fun. I’ll definitely stay here again.
The room with the terrace was great! The terrace was spacious and with views towards the Eiffel Tower. The furniture is a bit round out but the bed is comfortable and the size of the room is correct.
This hotel was excellent location near to the metro 🚇 walking distance for restaurants. The stuff was excellent and helpful, the property was nice and clean room big, clean and excellent view and lighting. We will stay there im our next trip to Paris.
For Paris standards, the rooms are big and fully equipped. Our room was quiet and the 2 single beds very comfortable. We didn't use any of the amenities, except for the water dispenser on the floor, which also had an option of carbonated water. 10 min walk to both metros, but use the Pasteur metro, the other one is too busy and doubles the distance with the underground corridors. We used the boulangeries and cafes around, and they're all excellent. Also, the train from Gar3 Montparnasse to Versailles is so convenient and clean. Overall this hotel contributed to our very nice 1-week experience in Paris.
Overall very good stay, polite staff ,very clean ,good location for the price, could do with mirror in bedroom for females getting ready but overall very good and would definitely stay again
We spent 4 days with my family on this hotel, we enjoy this stay !! The room was clean and confortable, we are very satisfied of thé service and the breakfast also. We will come again :)
Initial sign in and the room that was assigned was small and not acceptable to me. I complained about my room being so small and the baseboards were falling off. The shower was dark and dingy. I had no room to put my clothes away.
The staff came and checked and immediately gave me a renovated room with modern fixtures and shower and a larger room with large enough closets. After that change I was a very happy camper.
I liked the opportunity for the breakfast lunch and dinner. But not to my expectation for this hotel. I had to make my own eggs, the pancakes were cold along with their muffins. I had to use the warmer oven which did not work for me. The coffee machine had run out of cote lite and I had to drink warm milk instead.
But thankfully the area was near Montparnasse which I used the Bullangerie for breakfast and the Atlantic cafe for dinner and another Italian restaurant around the corner.
The location was great for going to Metro and the Trains. The breakfast fo $21 Eros was not with it.
Visited as a family. Family room had a double bed and 2 single sofa beds which left little space for luggage. Small bathroom but sufficient. Convenient location. Breakfast space felt a bit chaotic - very crowded; perhaps rearranging where different food is kept might have helped. Good options of fruit, pastries, cereals, hot food.
The Novotel Montparnasse was good for our family of 4, the sleeping conditions were a little tight but that’s what we expected for the price range in Paris. It was close to the metro station and there were several good restaurants very close. If you are up for walking, most of the attractions (Eiffel tower, notre dame, etc) were within 2 miles walking distance. The breakfast buffet was great! There aren’t many restaurants open for breakfast (other than pastries of course) so it was a good thing to add on for our family to make sure the kids got a good start in the morning!
The people who worked there were so nice. The breakfast was fantastic. Very comfortable and clean room. I will definitely use Novotel again in the future and recommend to my friends and family.
