Check in, mold in 2 rooms, keys don’t work for days, rooms entered by staff.
Check in was an issue. I get hotels have a certain check in time however I would guess most of guest have been traveling. I left home the night before at 618pm (flight take off) 10/24/19 get to Paris and arrive at hotel 12pm Friday 10/25. Had to sleep in the lobby bcus check in time is not flexible AT ALL, there was over 20 people waiting to be checked in and they wouldn’t start until 3pm. Wake up Saturday 10/26, Room 106 had a broke shower holder, can’t even take a shower unless you hold it. MOLD all over the shower area, I tell them Saturday morning 10-1030am... get back around 12- 1am.... that’s 14hrs later, go to the room... still broken, still gross. I go back down, given option of 2 rooms. Pack our stuff up, move into 415, MOLD all over the shower too. Sunday 10/27 we leave for around 9 hours to get back and have NO key working. Go down, get a NEW key, still doesn’t work. 2 trips to the desk, no keys work, they are just going to try it with the master key. He will call the technician. Monday 10/28, leave for the day, return in the evening, key still doesn’t work. Had to use the master key again. Tuesday finally the key works, however the DO NOT DISTURB sign was removed, thrown on the floor and room entered by staff. If the room wasn’t already paid for the week, trust and believe I would have gone elsewhere. First trip to Paris, and your hotel has failed miserably.
