As the booking is non-refundable it is not possible to cancel when the hotel - well known of the problem - inform you about this after the booking is made. In addition, the hotel charges you extra for using the shower. That breakfast is not included was not informed, neither at check-in nor when entering the dining room. Instead, it was overly charged (continental - but with no fruits nor toast) when checking out. In fact, we had to leave. Ants on the walls, and our room was on the sixth floor. The fan didn't work properly so there was no circulation in the room. If it wasn't 11pm when we arrived, we would have left immediately. We ended up with bug bites all over. The manager informed us this is a "Zero Star" hotel. Really? It's actually not a hotel at all; it's a hostel. There are shared bathrooms and showers on each floor. We did have an en suite but we had to rinse the buts out of the shower before using it. This was truly a bait and switch and at $280, this was unacceptable. Part of the blame is on Expedia - and I'm still waiting for my refund for the second night.
