Historic and bright apartment next to the emblematic centre of Paris, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city. The apartment has been under another owners management, as new owner of the apartment I will make sure you have even a more memorable stay! This 80m2 apartment features a bright and comfy living area with its own dinning table ideal for a family gathering and opened to a well-equipped and very modern kitchen. We could imagine that it would be really nice to live in this apartment and in this area. After we arrived the host also quickly responded to any concerns, example a shower head in one of the bathrooms was broken and fixed within hours. The host was very accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags while the apartment was still being cleaned - this was very much appreciated. However, I could not get over a smell the apartment had - in fact it is the whole building. It is an older building - but even with the scented oil throughout the apt. it never went away - so it was too strong for me to even want to cook. Check-in person kept telling us that this is how Paris apartments are. Well, I’ve stayed in 2 others which were very nice. Problem was that we specifically wanted 2 toilets which is what listing showed but one was actually a bidet. We were told not to use much hot water since water heater takes 24 hours to refill. I don’t know why apartment doesn’t have a tankless water heater to deal with this problem. It is nice that there is an elevator. Place could have been cleaner.
