The front of house staff and the cleaning staff were absolutely amazing and do a wonderful job. The hotel is a little hard to find, but it is very clean, thanks to its hard working staff. The problem is that the hotel is beginning to show its age. furniture had bits hanging off, the duvet cover had a hole, the lifts had this odd quirk of cancelling the floor you'd chosen and just taking you to the top of the building. Oh, I forgot, The beds are far too soft and the lift that brings you up from street level, honestly I don't think that has been cleaned since the day it was installed. Would I stay here again? Yes, because of the lovely, hardworking staff and the location ... but come on Accor Hotels, you can do better than this ... someone please arrange a refurb for this hotel

Decent in a pinch

If you are coming from America this hotel is similar to a super 8 depending on your room and can vary to a very dated la Quinta. The rooms are average and some are better than others as I booked 2 rooms and one was nicer than the other. The AC is ok. Throughout the night it was still a little warm. There is only one outlet in the entire room. The bathroom was so small. It was like 4x5 feet and that included the sink, toilet, and shower. Our room was good for 2 people MAX. Overall for the price we paid it was a decent deal. The train station was 8-10 miles away and there are some nice cafes nearby.

The hotel was okay as a budget option. The area immediately around felt safe and there were some nice bars and restaurants to have meals. The staff were friendly and helpful and all (on reception at least) seemed to speak fluent English. Parking facilities were excellent (importantly, our slightly larger than average car could fit!) and moderately priced. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. There was mold on the surrounds of the windows and a fairly disgusting drains smell in the bathroom (which was separate from the toilet). In all, pretty basic accommodation to suit a small budget, but I couldn't recommend if you had the opportunity to opt for something a little better.
