The front picture windows of the 70 square meter, two-bedroom apartment, provide luminous views of the Faubourg Saint Honoré and its luxurious shopping opportunities, while the rear of the apartment opens onto a discreet courtyard. It provides both exciting perspectives and welcomed tranquility in the "City of Lights". You will find yourself a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Arch of Triumph, the Place de la Concorde, Avenue Matignon, the luxury boutiques of all the great brands, the famous department stores, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. This home was perfect for our small family. There was comfortable sleeping space for my 15-yr old daughter and my husband and I. We had a minor issue with the newly renovated rain shower upon arrival but the hosts quickly tended to it so that we could benefit fully. We appreciated having a washer/dryer onsite for our 10-day stay. The location is exceptional - 4 mins to a subway stop and we found that we were never really more than 15-30 walk or subway ride to any major attraction in the city. Beautiful neighborhood that felt safe and welcoming at all times. Would stay here again without any hesitation!

The apartment is in a great location and within walking distance to several metro stations and sights. It is spacious with two bedrooms, a kitchen and large living room. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

Great location - lovely apartment

We were impressed with the Faubourg apartment. It is a very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was spacious for 2 people and appointed nicely. The check-in and check-out process was easy and very clear. The owner was in touch as we need during our stay.

Lovely stay

Spacious bright apartment located in premium shopping district in walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Arc d’Triumph, Louve Museum and Notre Dame. Cafes and restaurants close by. Markets and bakeries also a short walk. Gare St Lazare also a 15 minute walk away. Perfect for a stay in Paris. Hosts were wonderful and accommodating.

Cool Weather in Paris

It was so nice to be in cooler weather in a beautiful city. The location of the apartment couldn’t have been better. We enjoyed relaxing there after exploring the city with our children. The nespresso machine made the mornings easier after long evenings. We all absolutely loved the apartment.

Great location

The flat was in a good and what felt like a safe location. It was walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and although it had some cookware, it was lacking some of the basics like salt & pepper, sugar, garbage cans, etc. It was as described by the photos and my only negative comment is that it while it was clean enough, it could benefit from a deep clean. On the positive side, communication with JP was great and check in and out was easy.

Could use a facelift.

Basic amenities. Washer/dryer a plus. Comfortable mattresses. Bathroom could use a serious clean-up. In general, not as pristine as it appears in photos. I would caution anyone with mobility issues to stay away from the step-up stairs into the deep bathtub that doubles as a shower. No grab bars of any kind inside the shower space.

Wonderful location

We stayed in this property in July. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk to the Eiffel tower and the Arc de Triumph. Although a little longer we walked to Notre Dame and the left bank. There was a nearby grocery store and many restaurants and bakeries. The apartment kitchen was equipped with all the appliances anyone would need and surprisingly an actual clothes dryer (not common in Europe). Jean Paul was great to deal with and check in was easy. When we met him I did tell him there were some cleaning issues and he said his cleaning person was new and would talk to them.

Absolutely Amazing

First, the host is exceptional. His communication is quick and helpful! He allowed us to drop our luggage for storage and see the apartment before check-in. He engaged our eight year old daughter! He helped us find markets nearby, too! The apartment is beautiful and in an incredibly safe neighborhood. It is a secure entrance and we felt safe the entire time. It is across from Le Bristol Paris and down the street from the President’s home, so there is always security and the neighborhood is clean. You can walk to most major sites! The apartment was exactly as shown; even better! The kitchen had everything we needed for our 17 night stay. Bonus that there is an ice cube tray. The freezer and fridge are great size and it was a bonus to have a separate washer and dryer. The bathroom is small, but that is to be expected in Paris. The apt. Has lots of storage, shelving, hangers, and sitting space. We loved having a/c, a smart tv, windows that opened on cooler mornings and a coffee bar area. The floors are beautiful wood floors. Do consider if you have mobility issues that the stairs up to the apt. Are spiral and smaller. We had no problem using them, but those with mobility issues may want to consider this. There is a small lift. We would absolutely stay here again! It felt like home! Thank you for an exceptional apartment and for sharing this lovely place in Paris!

Almost Perfect Parisian Pad

Unfortunately I contracted Covid a couple of days before we were due to travel to Paris in October 2023! However David, the lovely host, very kindly allowed us to move the booking to April 2024 instead! We had a fantastic holiday. Although not brilliantly clean - the apartment is in the most amazing location and we could walk to many of the sights. It is also a very safe place to stay as it's right next to the Elysee! The area is quite smart with lots of designer shops and small art galleries. We found a fabulous boulangerie very close by and a mini Carrefour where we could buy all our supplies. The kitchen in the apartment needed a bit of a clean but once we'd done that we found it all the equipment we needed to cook decent evening meals. After lots of walking and sightseeing during the day we were very happy to relax in the evenings on comfortable sofas in front of the large TV. Initially my daughter found her bedroom was lacking charm and felt a little like a prison cell, but once she had put out her books, clothes and accessories it felt more homely. Overall we loved our stay in this chic apartment and would come again.

Good location in the 8th but stay somewhere else

Firstly, good location If you’re interested in staying the the 8th. Check in was fairly straight forward, communication with the manager was fine. Once in you could see the property was not well cleaned. Under the sink was 2 still wet tea towels wrapped around our months old kitchen scourer, no kitchen towels. Then we realized there was no toilet paper, contacted the property manager and he told us to buy some and he would reimburse us. Lots of little things were just below average- the towels were fairly old, the towel holder in the bathroom fell out. Then on the last 2 days construction started at 8am directly upstairs. Even though when I read the previous guests review where he said there was construction I checked and the property manager assured us that it was finished. No feedback from him after I sent him video evidence.

Stayed a month so know it well

we stayed the entire month of May 2024 so this is very accurate as we had the time to make lots of observations Pros.Hosts incredibly helpful entire time even with non property related issues. Location good and safe.place had w/d and blow dryer. Close to metro and champs D’lysee Cons. Not as pictured. No 2nd sink in bathroom which is tiny and no where for soap etc by sink. you lose the dining room if you want second full bed and twin room is not realistic for an adult. No curtain, place to put things or storage construction noise kept us from getting full nights sleep consistently Cleaner left a LOT of areas filthy (behind/under…) hall lights out so not easy or safe to use Stairs at night/in bad light. Linens/towels tired. Furniture wasn’t all that pics showed and is not nearly as nice in person. Could use more rugs hooks art … warmth No ice machine as listed nor ice trays Because we lost dining area in lieu of 2nd Murphy bed, we had to eat at coffee table which has been replaced with one hosting a giant hole in the center making it challenging to use. We were looking to make this a home away from home to celebrate a milestone but it did not feel that way. We made it work but it was disappointing

Unacceptable Property

To begin, the check-in process was fine. I texted John Paul several times and the driver found the location without any problem. The issues began when we entered the dwelling. John Paul had allowed me to place my luggage inside before it was cleaned ( I arrived a 6 am). No problem. Entering the apartment, I was appalled at the quality of the furnishings. Everything was cheap, rundown and poorly maintained. It reminded of a youth hostel. In the photos of the property you really cannot ascertain the poor quality of the furnishings nor the setup. One bedroom is actually a Murphy bed in the dining room with a disgusting mattress. Then the jack-hammering began! Construction noise taking place upstairs was unbearable. I immediately called John Paul and complained. He asked me to wait until the cleaning was done and to return later (he thought I was more concerned about the cleanliness of the unit rather than the overall condition). There was no way I could stay there for 9 days. I left for an hour and returned. During that time I found a hotel for the night but knew I would have to find another place to stay. I returned to retrieve my luggage an hour later. The cleaner was leaving. He cleaned the entire unit in 1 hour? I called the next day to complain, especially about the construction. He stated "they have been working in the building for 2 years, how was I to know when they would return?" He should have disclosed that. He did not. I found another property.

A spacious bright 4th floor flat in the 8th of Paris. John Paul was easy to communicate with & told us everything about the place before we arrived. Modern updated small bathroom, modern easy to use washer & dryer. Would give this Excellent but lift wasn't working the first 2 days. He did reimburse us 50 euros both days it was not working. Would stay there again next time. I might suggest waters in frig for guests as it was a hot summer; also a list of nearby restaurants & boulangeries would be useful.

Location can not be beat!

Great flat in a wonderful and safe neighborhood. Clean and nicely updated with plenty of living space for 4 adults. Small bathroom and kitchen - but that’s not why you are in Paris! Across the street from one of the fanciest hotels in Paris and a block away from government buildings. Only 1.5 blocks to the metro. And walkable to all parts of the city if you are so inclined. Highly recommend.
