Disappointed about this hotel

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: location to park
Cons: Food needs improvement along with staff attitudes
Most disappointing thing about this hotel was the food and staff they were terrible. The hotel its self is basic but we were not in it much our room was cleaned everyday but this was early so you were knocked up even if you wanted to lie in, which some mornings we did due to such late nights seeing Disney fireworks. Quick bus journey to parks but the buses are so full and peoples manners seem to disappear its a nightmare for parents with pushchairs or people in wheelchairs. I would definitely not stay at this hotel again and would rather stay at a non Disney hotel given the choice.

No wifi or AC, how much do you value comfort?

Posted 07-Aug-2015
Pros: Location, decor.
Cons: Ice machines need to exist, one per building since there are about a million buildings. They need wifi too. Laundry needs to be more convenient.
Location: Strictly Disneyland, nothing else to do.
I paid $350/night for a hotel room with no AC and no WiFi in 2015. I never thought I'd say that. It included Disneyland tickets and one of the most disappointing breakfasts I've ever seen. The room was well themed and if you don't burn up in the Parisien summer, you'll probably consider it a fine room. There was an adequate selection of TV channels, mostly news or kids shows. There is only one laundry room and you need tokens to use it. About $3 for wash and another for drying. You'll probably have to dry twice. The front desk couldn't bring us ice, which seemed insane. They told us to go to the bar, which was closed, or the machine (in a different building entirely), which was broken. We told them this and got a verbal shrug, the indifference could be felt over the phone. Overall it's the cheapest hotel at Disney. In the future I'd stay offsite for sure, they all have shuttles and you can still visit any hotel for meals and character dining and all that fun stuff. A room should be a place you go to relax and unwind and it's pretty well impossible at this hotel.

Santa Fe Disney Paris

Posted 03-Aug-2015
Pros: Walking distance to the parks. With two small kids, it's really nice to be able to walk back to the hotel for a nap in the middle of the day.
Cons: A coffee maker and mini fridge would be nice but maybe too much to wish for at this price. The bathroom counter can be less messy with a soap dish.
Location: The shopping center at Serris is really close by with a big supermarket, a food court and lots of other shops.
Being the first time visiting Disney Paris, we picked this hotel because of the included Disney park tickets, the closeness to the parks and the two hours early entrance when you stay at a Disney hotel. Our 5-year-old really likes the Cars movies so we picked Santa Fe over Cheyenne. But the excitement over the Cars themed wallpaper and a framed picture of Mater in the room lasted about two minutes and that's it. We were able to move the two beds together so the kids will not roll off the beds when they are sleeping. Only my husband went for the included breakfast for one morning before the kids woke up, and he said it's ok. The restaurant got really busy a little before 9 when he finished. We'd rather to be in the park early and eat some snacks there. We stayed for 3 nights and got 4-day passes for the parks which is really nice. We probably would stay at a Disney hotel next time also, but try one that is a little higher in hotel class.

Greit hotell i nærheten av Disneyland

Posted 19-Jul-2015
Hotellet bærer preg av at litt slitasje. Frokosten var et stort kaos. Anbefaler å booke frokost i parken. Ellers var det varmt da vi var der, og rommene har ikke air condition:-( Barna stortrides

Summer travellers beware!

Posted 11-Jul-2015
As a Disney fan with many resort stays in Anaheim and Orlando in the past, I thought that I would get an experience at the Santa Fe similar to a value resort at WDW. It honestly never occurred to me that a Disney on property resort in a place that routinely exceeds 95 degrees on summer days would have no air conditioning, no air circulation in the room buildings, an unscreened window that could only be opened about six inches, and no pool. No WiFi in the rooms either. My fault for making the assumption, but I have expectations of the Disney brand and this hotel didn't measure up. Recent renovation meant all was in good shape but it was lipstick on a pig. One positive is that the staff was uniformly helpful, cheerful and courteous. Avoid at all costs in the summer unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!

The hotel is a lovely experience for the kids because of the 'Cars' theme but the staff can be a little abrupt when it gets busy. When we checked in the staff member forgot to give us our breakfast vouchers and did not mention that a reservation needs to be made for dinner. By the time we realized we needed breakfast vouchers there we none left for the hotel breakfast but we got vouchers to eat at a restaurant in the park which was lovely. Our first dinner there was so disorganized because of the lack of information given to us at check in but we eventually got to eat dinner at 9.30pm which was a bit late for the kids and we made sure we had a reservation for our second night. The dinner is s buffet with a lot of choice and it's very well prepared and delicious.

Hotel comodo per raggiungere il parco divertimenti

Posted 01-Jul-2015
Pros: Vicinanza parco divertimenti e navette bus

Perfect base for short Disney break

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Perfect hotel if visisting disneyland paris for a short stay. Room was very clean, had everything needed (safe etc). Free shuttle runs every 14 or so minutes to and from the parks - going in in the mornings as close to 8 as possible is quieter and when coming back try to head for the back of the bus, theres no lines, its every man for themselves but people tended to crowd near the front. Breakfast was okay for a quick meal in the mornings. Overall great experience.

Dont understand the attraction

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Pros: the staff
Cons: aircon, wifi.
£250 for just the room (we were only staying one night) without park tickets I dont see any value. Breakfast was a zoo, with poor quality with little choice . Room has no aircon, no wifi, no elevators so if you are on the first floor your lugging your stuff. Yes, you are a ten minute shuttle ride to the parks, and there are magic hours. We got to ride three rides prior to the park opening, not worth the discomfort and expense. If you are traveling with older kids or teenagers, I'd rather stay in Paris and take the train in, which is about 45 minutes and leaves you at the entrance to the park. We will be back to Disneyland Paris, but will not stay at their hotels. I do understand it is considered a two star hotel, but for the price paid, I expected better.
