Nice hotel, reasonably priced and close to parks

Posted 02-Mar-2017
Pros: This hotel is close to the parks, the food (which is buffet style) is excellent and it is a Disney hotel ... need I say more!
Cons: They could provide a kettle in the rooms but as it is a two star hotel this can be forgiven. If you go to reception you can hire a kettle.
Location: The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the parks if you don't wish to wait for the free shuttle bus.
Our experience was very good. We have stayed at this hotel several times before and have never had anything negative to say. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good. It has a good theme, based on the Cars movie. This hotel is also within walking distance of the Disney parks. Which is handy as the free buses can get busy, especially when the park closes. The rooms in this hotel are nicely decorated and appeal to adults as well as children. Room service comes in daily and it was always clean and tidy when we got back to the hotel in the evening.

Family break

Posted 12-Feb-2017
Pros: Good continental breakfast and nice bathroom.
Cons: Previous residents had smoked heavily inside room and housekeeper hadn't been able to clear the smell. Not good for potential family occupancy.
Location: The park was as good as usual but it was the school holidays so incredibly busy.
Glad I booked my daughter,son-in-law and grandaughter into the Sequioa Lodge as the Sante Fe room we had would not have had adequate room for three staying 6 days.As the park has quite a few of the bigger rides shut down, there was a stampede for Big Thunder Mountain at 10am and children were being overwhelmed by the sheer number of adults who had no regard of the consequences. And as they arrived en masse, the ride wasn't open so hundreds of people were going nowhere, all trying to be first in the queuing system.Really quite unpleasant.

Fantastic value for money

Posted 20-Jan-2017
For a budget hotel I thought it was fantastic! The theming was great and you really felt the Disney magic! Facilities were basic but if you're planning on spending most of your time in the parks then it has everything you need. It's such a short walk to the parks, 10-15 minutes, that we never needed to use the free shuttle bus! Would definitely book again!!

Great location, but building is old and tired. Breakfast queue was 30 minutes.

A Disney Hotel

Posted 06-Nov-2016
Pros: Good decor
Cons: Lift Noise
Location: Disneyland Paris theme parks and Disney Village
A value resort hotel at Disneyland Paris. But very well decorated with a theme of the Disney Pixar Cars movies. The hotel is more like a motel with rooms in many blocks around the grounds, with reception, restaurant and shop in the main building. Breakfast was provided in our booking, and was a basic continental buffet which had a long queue! Rooms are not massive, but had 2 double beds, a small table between. There were 3 storage drawers and a small hanging space - open, no cupboard doors. There was a safe, a kettle (no cups or supplies) and a hairdryer. A bar of soap was provided and 2 small bottles of shower gel. There were no extra pillows or blankets in the room. There was a ceiling fan, and the windows opened a small amount. The beds were quite firm. The biggest problem was the constant noise of the lift, this despite the fact we were several rooms away from the lift. Not sure I would want to spend more than one night in that area of the block.
