An iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and broom are available. The bedroom is interior courtyard facing with a double bed with a superior quality mattress. Professionally laundered sheets, comforters, pillows and pillowcases are provided to you, as well as bath towels for each guest. The flat has one bathroom accessible via the hallway with a shower, toilet and sink. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer plus complementary toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap to start your stay. This neighbourhood is rich with history and literature fans will love immersing themselves in this area. This area is home to the prestigious La Sorbonne university. From your front door, you are steps from the Seine River and the Ile Saint Louis, Notre Dame and Ile de la Cite. Saint Michel, Saint Germain des Prés and the Jardin des Plantes are all within walking distance. At your doorstep you’ll find a huge array of restaurants, bistros, cafés, ice cream parlours, florists, artisan chocolatiers, art galleries and much more! There is also the famous Rue Mouffetard nearby, dotted with a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, butchers, grocers and more. It does require you to be able to walk up 4 flights of stairs, which was no problem for us. I was worried because of how bustling the restaurant downstairs was that it would be noisy at night, but this courtyard facing apartment was super quiet. I was also very pleased with the professionally cleaned linens and towels! The master bed and pullout in the living room were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very minimally stocked (and we could only get the electric burner to work, not the 3 other gas burners) but it was fine for our needs. It is an old building and apartment so I would recommend the property managers give it a much deeper clean every so often (the light switches in the bathroom for example were really dirty) and to freshen up some items, like the very worn out/dingy bathroom mat by the toilet, to help compensate for the overall condition of the building. Also a note for guests, there is no shampoo/body wash/conditioner in the bathroom so just be sure to bring your own. Overall, we were very happy to have this great, charming space (loved the beams on the ceiling!) over a tiny hotel room for the same price. ##### Julie T. The good: The space was a good size and there was plenty of light and windows. Also, the location was awesome. We were within walking distance of a lot of the sites we wanted to see.The not as good: The beds weren't the best. If you need something more on the plush side, this isn't for you. If you prefer very firm, you'll be fine. The pullout was your average pullout bed.The place is a little rustic so it felt a little less clean. When places are very old, it is difficult to get them really clean. Having said that, it wasn't super dirty, just older.Finally, just be aware that the height of the floors is pretty high and so when you're walking up a flight of stairs it is more like a flight and a half. Plus the first floor is zero not 1, so the 4th floor is essentially the 5th floor but it feels like the 7th floor. It was pretty hot but they did bring us a fan when it was requested. We kept the windows open in the main room and ended up with mosquito bites.
