Metro RANELAGH is 200 meters away. Access is very secure, there are 2 codes to reach the apartment and only residents can enter the avenue des chalets. The apartment is located in a Haussmann building from the end of the 19 th century. It is composed of 2 beautiful rooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The toilets are apart. Comfortable and quiet, no noise of the street, it is a family apartment, my father was born here and planted the tree in front of the window! The location was lovely and it was nice that it was secure with gates access, and it was very cute and charming, plus it was fairly close to the Eiffel Tower, which was just a few steps away on the very close Metro Station. The hostess was wonderful to communicate with and answered all of our questions, and someone was there to greet us when we arrived to welcome us and show us the property, and provide all the gate codes and keys needed. Location was wonderful. 1 block away from Metro, bakery, cheese, butcher, chocolatier, & grocery. Having the toilet separate from the shower/sink was a plus since there were 3 of us. Always had hot water and water pressure was great. Apartment had A/C (uncommon in Europe) which was a big plus but it was only in the central living room area. Had a washer but no dryer. It did have a large drying rack. Would have been nice to have extra towels since we stayed for 9 days. Elevator was not working when we were there and no one came to fix it. Word to the wise, pack light in case you have to carry your luggage upstairs. Apartment is on the 2nd floor but in Europe, the bottom floor is "0."
