The apartment itself is lovely and airy, with lots of natural light. The building has a peaceful atmosphere that was relaxing in the mornings and when we had downtime. Very convenient to all the sites. It was a maze getting to (and separate entry codes) which made it hard to access but we got used to it after a few times and the instructions were really clear. The restaurants near the apt were all fabulous. The interior of the apartment could use updating. The beds were quite hard and there was only comfortable seating for two people. The outside foyer smelled bad (I think cat urine or something else) which made keeping the window open hard but without the windows open, you’ll die of overheating. However, this unit needs to up its game regarding bedding. There were no extra blankets & while there 2 extra (visibly stained) pillows provided, there were no pillowcases so they were unusable. The VRBO description was completely accurate, and the host communicated effectively and promptly, though he was unable to meet us for check-in, and his friend left us a key instead.
