"Hotel Savoy Palace is not too far from cities (Salò is less than a five minute drive), but also pleasantly secluded. The small extra cost of a room with a balcony was worth it, as the views of Lake Garda from our room never got old. The hotel maintains it grandeur from the early 20th century. It is well maintained and clean. It is not overly modernized, which preserves the charm and character. Some features, such as the elevator, were clearly old, but very clean and efficient. We enjoyed staying in a hotel with character and charm. "

"My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The food was great, the staff was friendly, they offered us lots of snacks and plenty of water in our rooms, daily housekeeping, just all in all a great experience. We got married at Isola del Garda, just a 30 minute boat ride from the dock behind the hotel which was convenient. The asthetic of the property was very elegant, old money luxury. We loved the heated outdoor pool for when the sun was out, and we enjoyed the indoor spa and heated pool for when it rained. The only complaints I have is that the area isn't very walkable, and the taxis are insanely high priced. We had the hotel call us a taxi to go about 16 minutes up the street and back & paid 75€. Insane. Public transportation is the only thing that makes sense in Italy unless you're on a splurge. "

"Wonderful immaculate log chalet in beautiful alpine valley setting in Aosta. Amazing hosts and a super buffet breakfast for 10€. Close to central Aosta and restaurants, taverns and shopping. Best of both worlds, quiet log cabin close to bustling city center. Amazing views"

"Lefay is a stunning resort with picturesque views. The rooms are gorgeous as is the outdoor pool. The only downside is the hotel is on the top of the mountain so it is a little airy to drive up and down and takes nearly 20 mins to get down. If you are looking for a beautiful spa to just relax, it is just perfect."

"A truly beautiful area great restaurants in the area not many shops but those available are great. Breakfast buffet is out of the world. Beds are comfortable and rooms are of good size. Will definitely stay again. "

"The AC was broken and they did nothing to fix or provide a different room. It was 32 degrees. They offered us a fan but it was difficult to sleep. Seems a lot of rooms are very old. The location and view were spectacular! Breakfast was good."
