Pete's Paradise is the perfect beach house to escape the crowds and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the Forgotten Coast. This coastal home has an open concept living area with a split floor plan and offers all-new, modern amenities including vinyl plank flooring throughout! Enjoy hours of entertainment in the shaded backyard under the covered patio or gather around the fire pit with friends and family for a fun evening. Miles of white sand beaches and pristine water are just a short 2.5 blocks away from the home (less than a 5-minute walk) in St. Joe Beach, FL. As you enter the home you are greeted with an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area which is beautifully decorated with modern furniture and inviting coastal decor giving you plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The fully equipped kitchen features a large island, pantry, and new appliances. The open concept living area with tons of natural light is a great place to gather with friends and family for an ultimate beach getaway. 55-inch smart TV located in the living area with access to log in to your own Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. account. The split bedroom floor plan gives you privacy from your guests. The spacious master suite offers a king bed, 43 inch smart TV, and an en-suite bathroom with double vanity. One guest bedroom has a queen bed, while the other has bunk beds. Guest bedrooms share a full bathroom with double vanity. On-demand tankless hot water heaters are available for plenty of hot water for everyone. When you are ready to venture to the beach, you'll find paradise in less than 5 minutes! Load up the beach buggy (provided for you) and enjoy combing the secluded beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you'll spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. For the fishing enthusiast, launch your boat at the nearby Mexico Beach Marina boat ramp or Port St. Joe boat ramp and take in some first-class fishing, or book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner. After a long day at the beach, make your way to the backyard for some fun and games, or kick back with your favorite beverage under the covered patio. There are so many options to do without crowds or traffic! This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $125 plus tax will be added to your reservation after you book. \*All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.\* This home comes with everything you need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener. CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made. Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. We loved the area we brought our Jet Ski's and had a great time in the bay exploring. My major complaint is both showers would back up before the water would even get warm. The master was like it wouldn't even drain. Nothing fells better than standing in cold water while working on getting clean. I informed then of the issue after check in. Then they told me they knew of the problem. So if you don't mind standing in your and who knows backed up shower water please rent this place. We feel it was the most well appointed house that we've ever stayed in! There was an exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, we felt it was one of the best equipped kitchens we've ever used in a vacation rental. Everything was comfortable and clean with a nice, new feel to it. We loved the spacious open central living area. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and dining area. The island was perfect for puzzles. Appliances, smart TV, washer & dryer all worked great. Loved the fridge out in the covered patio out back for extra groceries for a large family. Also loved the large shower in the master bath, everyone wanted to use it LOL. Short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes), but we usually drove down, plenty of parking along the main road. Chairs, beach buggy, etc. available out at the patio out back. Some of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll see over the ocean. About 10 minutes into Port St. Joe with everything you need and a small town vibe. Enjoyed walking around town and the Uptown Raw Bar. Highly recommend visiting the Sea Turtle Center in PSJ and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve (approx. 45 minute drive). We cannot recommend Pete’s Paradise enough, especially for a family and we would eagerly stay again if visiting the area! ##### Eric L. My husband and our 6 year old had a nice four night stay. We sadly had a lot of rain during our trip but the covered area out back made up for it! The first day we loaded up the provided wagon (which is an awesome perk) but quickly learned the short walk to the beach became a lot longer with little feet…not a problem at all though, we just shifted to loading up the trunk with our beach supplies the next day and were on the sand within 3 minutes of walking out the door, driving, and unloading the car. Can’t beat that! Great property, great amenities, great price. ##### Ashton H. Nice bedroom layout with plenty of towel racks and hooks to dry your wet items. All the appliances worked wonderfully and easily. My picky family even gave the refrigerator water and ice flavor a thumbs up. I appreciated the coffee maker and plenty of ice being made in the freezer. There is a nice covered area in the back yard where they store beach gear which was incredibly valuable to use and to store our sand covered items during our stay. The location is very close to the beach. It is an easy short, flat walk down the street. Directly across the Highway is an easy beach access walkway. A few drawbacks include: The owner suite bed was incredibly hard. Being a doublewide, all of the walls where very thin but workable. What we missed the most was an outdoor water source to rinse off our feet and sandy items. A couple of maintenance items needed attention, hopefully they will be repaired soon as we made the management company aware. (Owner suite bathroom door didn't latch and 2 smoke detectors were removed and needed reinstalling.)
