Gulf Front 3 BR/3.5BA, Dog Friendly PattyLew 2, a 3BR/3.5BA townhome, is the perfect family-friendly spot for your next vacation! You'll find yourself 45 steps away from the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas and when your beach day has ended you'll enjoy amazing views and sunsets from all 3 decks. Ground Level Ample parking for three to four vehicles depending on size Outdoor shower Main Level Living Room Dining Room – seats 6 Updated Kitchen – bar seating for 2 Half Bath Gulf facing deck with grill and patio furniture - deck is also gated and exits to the boardwalk Second Level Gulf Front Guest Room – king bed, ensuite bathroom & private deck Full size washer and dryer Street Side Guest Room – queen over queen bunk bed with ensuite bathroom Third Level Primary Bedroom – king bed, ensuite bathroom & private deck. There is also a coffee/wine bar, mini fridge, bar sink and wine cooler. PattyLew 2 is in Barrier Dunes, a gated community on the North end of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes has four beach accesses, two swimming pools, pickleball/tennis courts, a playground and stocked fishing ponds (no license required). Bed and bath linens provided - you will want to bring your own beach towels. We also provide trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods and hand soap. There is an additional fee if you decide to bring your dog. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs and the pet fee is $150 and is non-refundable. 50% of balance due is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to check-in. The property could use some updating - paint chips in multiple spots, some signs of prior leaks on the ceilings, some of the railing was decayed/needs to be replaced on the outside stairs, light bulbs were out in multiple locations throughout the home, including the outside porch light. The unit is very nice and well equipped. My only complaint is that when we cooked dinner the first night, we found that many of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Before we could cook, we had to rewash the pots and pans we used, and then when we were ready to eat we found that many of the plates were really dirty like someone ate spaghetti or something with red sauce and then put them back in the cabinets without washing them. We washed a few loads of dishes in the dishwasher but the dishes didn't look very clean after washing on the "normal" cycle with heat dry. Well-appointed and the location and proximity to the beach is wonderful. There is an outdoor shower underneath the unit that was very convenient when coming up from the beach. The only reason I wouldn't give it a five star is the price. I booked last minute due to a mix-up with another place. My husband and I decided to pay this price because we were desperate and had friends and family coming. We would love to come back, but will have to find somewhere less expensive for our budget. Stefanie was very gracious and let us leave our luggage early. She was very accommodating. Also, as with all the units at Barrier Dunes, there are three flights of steep stairs (14 on each flight) so if you have small children or elderly, this wouldn't be a good fit. ##### Cindy M. During our 4 day stay we had 3 live roaches, one on each floor, and a live frog in one of the showers. The shower curtains need to be replaced. Just under 30 steps from the back porch steps to the walkway to go to the beach! The condo was neat and clean upon arrival. What you see in the listing is what you are greeted with. Plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day on the beach. The master bedroom has great views of the beach with plenty of space. The coffee maker, mini fridge, and extra sink are an added plus. The secondary bedrooms/bathrooms were a nice size for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with any items needed to cook meals in the condo. With unobstructed views of the beach, ocean, and sunsets, the townhome is only steps from the beach over the boardwalk. The townhome has recently been updated - Kitchen, Master, Master Bath, and new flooring throughout. The ground floor, private, outdoor shower is a plus. The outdoor seating on the first level deck seats 6 at a bar height table with an umbrella and is invaluable. We will return to CSB and PettyLew2 in the future. ##### Chip S. Stefanie was very responsive and super nice. We had a few minor issues but nothing that kept us from having a great vacation, and Stefanie was quick to respond to anything we needed assistance with. Ocean views are great and the walk to the beach is very short - less than a minute. The shower in the carport was super convenient, as well. WiFi was very good - we brought a FireStick and were able to stream TV - live TV and Netflix - with no issues. Overall - this house is fantastic for the price you pay...the house isn't luxurious, but it's very nice; you have great ocean views and short walks to the beach; and Stefanie is great to work with if you need her. This house has everything you need for the beach, chairs, sandtoys, etc. The house was just a few steps away from the beach and the ocean view was wonderful. We loved each bedroom having their own private bathrooms and also there was a bathroom on the ground level. Plenty of games for the kids to play inside and each room had their own private balcony.
