GULF VIEW & PETS OK Funseeker is on Cape San Blas and in beautiful Barrier Dunes. It has has tile in all areas except bedrooms and stairs where there is luxury Vinyl Plank. You will enjoy a spacious townhouse and well equipped kitchen. Kitchen has newer appliances and tile back splash as well as granite counter tops. It features 3 private decks and is just steps from the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf. We fell in love with Cape San Blas and know you will too. We want you to enjoy our home and have taken steps to ensure you have everything you will need for a perfect vacation. It also has 3 Flat Screen LED TV’s, set up for streaming your own steaming platforms with Amazon Firestick and Free WIFI. Funseeker is located on one of the 3 freshwater ponds stocked with fish within the community. You can sit on the deck and see the turtles swimming and sunning themselves. This lake is right across from the Clubhouse with pool overlooking the beautiful gulf. It is less than a minute walk to beautiful Gulf of Mexico white sand, uncrowded beach. The den features both Love seat and Queen sleeper sofa with very comfortable Memory foam mattress. There is an electric fireplace which provides ambiance and warmth in Winter, with 46” flat screen TV above. FUNSEEKER is an end unit and features a large picture window with window seat which provides lots of natural light. There is a large deck off the den with gulf, clubhouse and lake views. There is patio furniture and a gas grill on this deck. Also a gate which is nice for the little ones and pets. For dining there is a dining table with seating for 6 and additional seating at the bar. The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops and tile back splash. Appliances updated with Whirlpool Stove, Refrigerator with Ice and water on door, Microwave and Dishwasher. There is also Coffee pot, Blender, Toaster, hand mixer as well as dishes, pots, pans, phone and kitchen utensils. There is a large pantry in the kitchen which really gives ample room for groceries and small appliances. There is a full bathroom located between the kitchen and 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is roomy and features a unique bedding arrangement with a Queen size bed and a built in full bed overhead which is fun for the little ones. There is a balcony off this bedroom with gulf view and it also features a new 21” flat screen TV as well as a small chest, night stand and lamp. The next level is the large master Suite with a beautiful King Size bed with new top of the line mattress as well as dresser, armoire and 32” Flat-screen TV. Additionally it has a ceiling fan, reading lamps, phone and alarm clock. Adjacent is a large vanity/dressing area with double sinks. There is a separate area with large tiled shower and glass enclosure. The master bedroom has a good size deck with views of the clubhouse, gulf and the fishing lake below. The laundry area is also on this level and has a large capacity washer and dryer and iron and ironing board. Underneath is parking for 2 vehicles, one is covered. You can park your boat in the designated area within the community. There is an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. This is great for washing off the sand and having a 3rd shower! There is a beach locker with beach cart, beach chairs, umbrella, rolling cooler, sand and water toys and we also provide beach towels so you are all set to enjoy the beach! There is also an exterior camera for security purposes and to monitor the public exterior of our home, front door and carport area. We want you be have a perfect vacation and enjoy our home as much as we do. We have tried to ensure you have everything you need to feel at home here. Cape San Blas consistently ranks in the Top 10 Beaches. 20 miles of Pet Friendly, uncrowded white sand beaches on a peninsula sandwiched between the Gulf Of Mexico and St. Joseph’s Bay makes this a dream vacation spot. Bring your family to experience Florida like it used to be -No High Rises here to mar your views – No crowds – just emerald green waters and unspoiled snow white beaches with sand dunes and sea oats blowing in the gulf breeze. When was the last time you built a bonfire on the beach at night or went horseback riding at sunset on the beach? Also, pets are allowed on the pet friendly beaches of Cape San Blas. Sounds laid back but there are plenty of things to do here. 300 feet from the entrance of Barrier Dunes is a bike path that goes the entire length to the entrance of Cape San Blas (9 miles). St. Joseph’s State Park is within walking distance and has miles of white sand beaches, striking dune formations, a heavily forested interior, and a favorable climate for year-round outdoor recreation. Boat launching, picnicking, hiking trails, boating, fishing + can be found here. Also nearby is the Port St. Joe Country Club and Golf Course. The St. Joseph Bay offers scuba diving, boat and sailing opportunities. Rentals can be made on the Cape at Scallop Cove and other shops. Both Appalachicola and Port St. Joe offer unique shops and antiques. There are many wonderful seafood restaurants from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The layout of the rooms made it easy for the 5 of us (3Kids) to spend our week there comfortably. The outdoor closets were Full of chairs, toys, boards, coolers etc. which makes packing at home a lot easier. The beach boardwalk is just steps away! Everything that you would need is provided by the homeowner. Great access to kitchen needs and beach gear. We enjoyed using the provided beach carts and other accessories and it was nice not to have to pack bulky chairs and other beach items. The walk to the beach and the pool was super easy, even with kiddos, and took less than a minute to either one. The kids loved looking at the turtles in the pond right off the deck. This was our first time visiting the Cape and we enjoyed exploring the area. The beaches were beautiful. We especially enjoyed crabbing which we discovered instructions for in the information filled binder the owner provides. Overall we had a blast and can’t wait to come back! ##### Mollie D. We really enjoyed our stay at Funseeker. The location is very close to the beach and pool, only about a minute walk. The owners provide everything you need for the beach including sand toys, chairs, and umbrellas. They also provide most anything you need in the kitchen if you choose to cook while there. The beds were firm, but comfortable and the home is nicely decorated. The location itself is right by the entrance to the park. While there aren't a lot of restaurant options on the Cape, there are 2 very good options within 1 mile of Barrier Dunes, Coneheads and Longbills. We didn't experience any problems that required reaching out to the owners while we were there. There were some minor cleaning issues when we arrived, some broken beach toys, a couple of other minor issues, but none of which negatively impacted our overall stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again. ##### Shane M. My two boys, my husband, and I had a wonderful at Funseeker! As a clean freak, my first concern in a rental is always cleanliness, especially one that accepts pets because they can smell. Honestly, for this reason, I have never restayed in a rental. However, we will be back to Funseeker! It was very clean and smelled it, too! We loved being able to bring our two pups with us to enjoy our family vacation. This was a new experience for us as we usually go to Alabama beaches. We are definitely all about CSB now!The pet towels and beach towels were welcome ammenities. Our boys loved the bunk beds. Also, the renovated master bath and kitchen were exactly as pictured. The landline was also extremely helpful as the cell signal on Cape San Blas is nearly non-existent. My kids loved being able to call grandma to tell her about their day!Barrier Dunes is also a great community! Funseeker is super close to the clubhouse pool and the beach, and it is directly on one of the ponds. My husband didnt have much luck fishing the ponds, but fishing the state park (right next to the property) and the surf produced great results. Also, as the unit is an end unit, you can walk dogs right outside easily. The owner was also extremely responsive and helpful. It was super nice to deal with the owner directly rather than a large rental company, and we found the property to be better cared for probably due to this.We will be back to Cape San Blas and the Funseeker!! ##### Erica N.
