There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. The large balcony is an added plus! This condo is very well equipped with everything you will need throughout your stay. Parking is tight if you drive a larger vehicle, so I’d suggest taking a smaller vehicle if possible. While this didn’t apply to us, I know it may apply to some visitors-mopeds and golf carts are not allowed at Sterling Reef, so make sure you are aware beforehand. Immediately after booking, I received an email from owner, Brent, with rental agreement, check-in times, codes for various access at the property, and a brochure created by him outlining rules and various amenities at and around the resort. Communication via text and email with him was responded to immediately. Initial impression of this unit was like watching an episode of fixer upper on HGTV. Attention to detail is second to none. I truly believe that the unit was remodeled as if the owner himself was living there! Everything you need, including a margarita maker, is supplied. The PS4, all the card games, and puzzles kept kids busy. By far one of the best vacation units I have rented! Recommend - absolutely! Book again - without question if available! ##### Joe F. This was my first time booking this way and I’m so glad I went with Brent’s beach condo. The condo was perfect for our group. Quiet but easy access to the elevator. Cute beach decor and spacious living areas. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Wonderful views from the great patio. Best of all was Brent! He worked with and reassured me throughout the process. Great communication and always quick responses. My adult children were also impressed and want to make our visit a yearly tradition. We take a girl's trip every year and this condo by far has been our favorite place to stay! It was so incredibly comfortable and perfectly set up. The mattresses were so great, the decor was amazing, the balcony was large and beautiful, and there was even a room that was off a little farther than the others for those of us that enjoy sleeping a little later. Parking is a breeze and even the carts were easy to access. We have stayed at many condos throughout the years but this one was by far the best! I would highly recommend it! And on top of that Brent was very kind and prompt in his responses! Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and book...you won't regret it! ##### Sara W. This is a beautiful condo with huge picture windows in both of the masters and the den/dining room. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The condo was just as described and was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. I loved the 2 masters! Brent is absolutely the best owner I have ever worked with. He was quick with communication, super friendly, and quick to refund our deposit. I can't say enough about how easy it was to work with him! I would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking. The condo is so well-appointed, with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. Brent was always available for questions, and responded quickly. There was plenty of space for everyone; even my mother-in-law had her own 'wing' which had a separate entry off of the front foyer. Our favorite spot was the covered corner patio, that had the most magnificent views of the ocean, and stunning sunsets every night. We ate all of our meals out there, and there were two very comfortable zero-gravity chairs out there. The kitchen had every appliance you could need, even a blender and a waffle iron! The only thing we would change about the place is the master bedroom mattress, which was too soft for us and sagged on both sides (the other beds were amazing), and maybe include a few beach towels. We were there the 3rd week of April, and were pleased to have missed the spring break crowd. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, and although the pools were a bit cold, we swam there too. There is a fitness center that overlooks the beach too...doesn't get any better than that. The area was mostly a strip of hotels, beach rentals, hokey tourist attractions and souvenir shops. We didn't eat out a lot, but Uncle Ernie's was pretty good. Our favorite spot was St. Andrews State Park, which had calmer waves for swimming (there were strong riptides at our beach the whole time) and great hiking trails. Overall, was a low-key, really relaxing time at an amazing 5-star accommodation. We recommend this place without reservations. ##### Megan J. Beautiful property! Amazing views! We definitely recommend staying here. We had an issue with the door code not working upon arrival, but the owner, Brent, responded very quickly and we got it sorted out! The location is great for a quieter spot, we went during spring break, but there is not as much to do right near by compared to other areas. We used a ride share for dinner one night and rented a golf cart one afternoon so it worked out just perfect for us! Wonderful vacation, thanks again! ##### Tessa W.
