"This was a very nice stay with an excellent cleaning staff and a customer service phone staff that helped me get checked in. Checking in was a horror story as I do not have a smart phone and did not have internet available as I was travelling. NO WHERE in the emails I received at home indicated that I needed a smart phone to check-in. The reservation was made and paid in full (for a stay on 11 May 2026) in Dec 2025. The property was spectacular in every way, but the check in experience makes it highly unlikely I would stay at Jaxon again. The property lacks a front desk and requires technology expertise by the customer. As I was unloading my car another arriving guest was frustrated trying to check in even with her smart phone. Luckily Achillia the housekeeper was still there and helped her also. Please fix your check in procedures for us old flip phone users as the hotel was the nicest of all the ones we stayed in during the entire weeks' vacation."

"My bathroom was a mess. The toilet was leaking water. Maintenance went and fixed it. The problem wasn’t fixed, it was still leaking water. I had to call the front desk two more times to send someone to fix it. Then the water wasn’t draining in the tub. Maintenance had to come again to fix it. It was not unclogged all the way. The bathroom floor and the entrance inside the room was dirty. The worst experience I had from staying at an hotel. The front desk staff were really nice and professional."

"Staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. Room was clean & stocked. Bed was extremely comfortable 😌 and the pool was open even moment I was awake while I was there & it was like a little enclosed sanctuary away from the busy city right outside the walls. I rarely review hotel stays but this one was deserving in the best ways. (Breakfast left something to be desired, although something different was cooked everyday)."

"For a home advertised as three bedroom house, it did have three bedrooms, but there were features of said bedrooms that made only one bedroom usable for our purposes. Also, there are many portions of the rest of the house that are "off limits" or not usable thus shrinking the overall size of the place and/or it's usability. There are no instructions as to how to use the hot tub, or if it is available for use. No information on how to check out or what expectations are of the use of the house, except for multiple signs of "do not use" or "authorized personnel only". Also, what I presume to be one of the owners showed up twice without notice, once to drop off furniture for future update purposes, which was stored outside under cover. It felt like this was a family vacation home, rented out for use when they were not using it, with rent amounts being used for renovations and is/was a work in progress. Neighborhood/house was less than ideal for our purposes, with multiple parties next door, multiple trumpet practice sessions at another neighbors, garage unavailable due to it being used for storage, a driveway gate that either had to be manually open/shut each time or propped open to allow access, etc. If house is to be rented in the future at price we paid, then the renter should feel as if they are able to use the the house, in it's entirety. If owner feels need to store person items in open areas, price should be discounted appropriately."
