"The Cactus House is an excellent location. Owners and their communication were excellent. Beautiful 3 bedroom home with wonderful front porch and amazing back deck and yard. The main bedroom has its own bathroom and bath/shower. The owners have other fantastic homes on their property. Greta hiking. And, only about 10 minutes from old downtown Bastrop with wonderful restaurants, pub and shopping. Would highly recommend Piney Creek Chop House for happy hour and dining and Maxine's for breakfast. That is when you're not grilling steaks and shrimp at the Cactus House and having your cocktails and mornings coffee on the back deck. Would highly recommend this property to anyone as well as to my Austin friends for a quick weekend or mid-week getaway. Love the Cactus House. WB"
