This meant walking 45 mins to get into town along a busy road, which is not lit at night. As for our stay, the room was very clean and spacious and a large, comfortable bed with two pillows each. The host was very friendly and helpful when asked via text. Unfortunately room service was missed twice although requested, and it was a shame there was no one available on site to help. When we checked in, a child came to give the keys, but didn’t speak much English so it was difficult to ask questions. However to be responsible for the hotel and my comment, my opinion is that it is really important for a Hotel to take care of insects control and pets management. I found there were many ants on the top of the washer when we come back from outside at about 8:30 PM. We checked in at 3 PM and everything was good. Although I have changed to another room but the room seems not well prepared, some small dust could be found and the shower-head was clogging. We felt very welcome. The food on offer is the most eye pleasing and tasty food I had for a long time. Kiki was worry that the cottage would be too small for a foreigner. I travel with a lot of gears. They are a bit small but with her help, we extended ourselves to the balcony and ended staying very comfortably for over a week. Good beds and well appointed room. I was able to setup my telescope and fly my drone right from our cottage steps. Don’t hesitate to book the cottage if you are traveling as a pair. There is also the larger alternative of the tree house which is very beautiful. Thank you Kiki and her staff. Tip: you'll need a scooter or bike to get anywhere, but the resort provides them (200 baht per day for a scooter). Rooms were big, modern and very clean. Grounds were nice and peaceful, although a bit unkept. Only thing letting this place down is the service: generally very slow and always hard to find anyone (even to check in).
