We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. We especially appreciated the row boat, fishing rods and paddle boards-it was fun to be able to fully enjoy the lake! We were 3 couples (two grown daughters and our spouses and our mom and dad) and we enjoyed our time together very much. Thank you-we hope to be back soon!
Wife and I wanted to get out of the Texas heat! The property is nothing short of stunning! Outstanding location with unbelievable views! Woke up and sat on the deck watching all the balloon launches across the lake!
We will be back!

July 2025 Trip
Great setup and location. We were there for a couple days trekking around mountains, eating & shopping in town, and fishing in the lake behind house. House has all amenities needed (husband, wife, and 10 yr-old twins). The real gem was morning & evenings on back porch - we saw a bald eagle one day and an osprey the next. We will definitely stay here again next summer.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The property was very dirty upon arrival. It was like it was not used for a year and dust was all over the place. The bathrooms were not cleaned well and toilets were stained on seats with dried urine spots. The windows were all very dirty and couldnt see a good lake view and spider webs all over the place. We almost wanted to leave but we ended up cleaning the entire house ourselves. We did report this to management and Vacasa and they responded immediately and communicated well bit just gave empty promises. Yhey said they would take care of us. I just requested a discount or at least a refund of cleaning fee and it took over 3 weeks for them to finally respond with the answer of basically too bad. Very disappointing!

House and location lovely. But no AC and we boiled; Vacasa no help.
The view was incredible, the decor and location great, but this multimillion-dollar build lacked AC despite having an HVAC system. In July, the east-facing house became sweltering, with ceiling fans too weak to help. The upstairs was a sauna, and the meat thermometer read 84 in the bedroom. The upstairs floor fan helped, but it was so loud that it sounded like a 777 jet engine and could be heard from outside. Opening windows didn’t help since the outside air was just as hot. For nearly 2,000 for 3 nights, this was unacceptable for a “luxury” rental.I reached out to Vacasa (property mngmt co), but their response was, “There’s no AC. The local team will call.” They never did. No creativity, no effort to help. Even a few 25 oscillating fans from Walmart would’ve made a difference.Other issues: cobwebs everywhere (inside corners, windows, the deck) that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, no outdoor fan to deter the swarms of gnats, and no shelving in bathrooms, leaving guests to balance toiletries on window sills and ledges. On the positive side, the house had garage parking, plenty of water toys, and a good location near town. But overall? Beautiful setting, miserable heat, and poor service. Not sure we'd recommend or stay again. Vacasa’s support was a joke.
