"A mixed bag: positives: house was clean and the key lock and parking was convenient, and food and drink supplies very welcome. Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) Although the house was on the same estate and also had 3 double bedrooms, one of the bedrooms was pretty small, and the original property had the master bedroom on its own top floor ,...

"Prices were very low and safe. There is a fast food restaurant nearby, which is convenient. Note that there was shampoo and soap, but no amenities such as hairdryers or toothbrushes. No air-conditioning, which can be a bit painful in hot weather. Heat can easily build up. Also, note that this is an accommodation for international students who stay here for more than a few months, and it is rare to find a guest like me on Expedia who only stays for 3-4 days and uses it like a hotel. "Stayed here for 2 nights recently. House actually looked better than the photos. Lots of space with plenty of towels / cutlery / glasses / plates etc. lovely quiet street within walking distance of Loughborough. would 100% stay here again. I have removed one star as the thermostat on the shower could do with being checked. Unfortunately the only temperate was scalding hot which made it difficult to shower but I’m sure that’s an easy fix for the host. Thanks so much for the stay!"

"Clean room and helpful staff"

The Orchard Hotel & Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"We had a lovely stay, the staff were very helpful, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. We enjoyed a meal on our first night, and the breakfasts were very well catered. There is ample parking (paid, make sure you register when checking in), and super-fast charging is available. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the facilities were just right. Very happy with our stay and the hotel, would stay here again."

"What a lovely surprise this hotel was. Such a change from the tired interiors of many on the booking sites. Clean, warm and very comfortable. Reasonable car park fee, staff extremely helpful and welcoming and breakfast was very good and included in the price. Will definitely return"

voco Leicester by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Booked a last minute trip with my Husband and we stayed in the top floor room which had a Jacuzzi. So happy with the booking, as the Jacuzzi was clean and ready to be used. The bed was comfortable and clean too. The hallway leading to our room was clean and modern looking. Staff were professional, friendly, polite and attentive as I checked in. I wish I had booked parking ahead of time as when I arrived, the Hotel parking was full so had to park a few minutes away. Had a lovely time at this Hotel, will definitely book again when visiting this area."
