The layout is perfect for a family vacation, with a cozy but spacious great room, kitchen, dining and living room with gas fireplace. There is also a convenient bedroom on this main entry level. Upstairs three more nicely furnished bedrooms including a lovely primary suite. This location is adjacent to the trail system that goes straight to the beach, pub, and restaurants. Neighborhood: Dory Pointe is a newer, quiet neighborhood of upscale beach homes built consistent with the natural environment. The area is bordered on the east by a greenbelt of shorepine trees that is perfect for exploring with kids or playing with the dog. Dory Pointe is centrally located near the beach just north of Kiwanda Shores and across the street from Shorepine Village. It is very close walking distance to all the Cape Kiwanda activities including surfing, dory boat launching, shopping and restaurants. The walk to the beach is quick through Shorepine village trails, or down the street to Cape Kiwanda State Park. The area is maintained with pride and governed by CCR's. A few recommendations: -Make recycling easier. People across the street looked liked they had bins and we were stuck with dealing with it ourselves. -Add car charger and use energy efficient light bulbs. -The bike were in horrible condition. One had 2 flats. One had a rusty chain. One had no brakes. This is a potential liability and an easy fix. -Water your potted plants. We were greeted with a rusty garage and dead plants.
