The small holiday home is idyllically located in the countryside in Oybin, a small health resort in the district of Görlitz. You are only 200 meters from the bakery and shops, so you can always enjoy fresh bread rolls in the morning before you start an eventful day of vacation. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the glassed-in terrace and enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. Oybin is the only German town on the south side of the Zittau Mountains on the Czech border. This is also the terminus of the steam-powered Zittau narrow-gauge railway. You can find groceries and souvenirs in the town, and for larger purchases, a short trip to Zittau is a good option. There are several restaurants where you can enjoy typical Saxon and Upper Lusatian cuisine, but you can also try hearty Bohemian dishes. Activities nearby: In summer, cycling, hiking and Nordic walking are available, while in winter the area also offers great cross-country skiing opportunities. Due to the often gentle gradients, which nevertheless offer wonderful views, the Zittau Mountains are very popular with hiking beginners and people with less fitness. Sights: the baroque mountain church built in 1734, the monastery and castle ruins with museum and camera obscura, the trains of the Celestine monks at the castle ruins, the half-timbered houses and the devil's mill as well as the Oybin train station with a small museum on the history of the Zittau narrow-gauge railway.

Das Haus liegt sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Es ist ausreichend für zwei Personen.Negativ ist, dass das Haus nur elektrisch beheizt werden kann. Das treibt die Nebenkosten ganz schön hoch, wenn man so wie wir im Winter zu Gast ist.

De plek was super gezellig en schoon, Ik hield ervan om ontbijt te hebben op de glazen veranda met dat uitzicht op de bergen, Het was fijn om zo dicht bij de natuur te zijn en de wandelpaden waren slechts een paar stappen verwijderd, De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden, maar misschien zouden een paar extra pannen geen kwaad kunnen, Over het algemeen een geweldige waarde voor de prijs en de gastheren waren erg vriendelijk, Zou zeker terugkomen!

herrlicher Urlaub

Im Ferienhaus für uns als Rentnerehepaar war alles da, was man braucht. Jetzt im Oktober waren zumindest die Nächte kalt. Alle Räume konnten wir heizen! Eine schöne Lage zum Entspannen. Unser Schäferhund konnte zwar nicht auf dem Grundstück frei laufen, weil es nicht völlig dicht umhegt ist, aber der Wald ist ganz in der Nähe. Die Natur ist herrlich und Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Sehenswertes in unbekannten Orten haben eine Woche ausgefüllt. Empfehlenswert !

Schöne Gegend

Leider kein W-LAN verfügbar. Die Bäckerei in der Nähe gibt es nicht mehr. Ist jetzt ein Naturkostladen wo man auch seine Brötchen bekommt, der Laden hat allerdings nicht jeden Tag offen. Vor-Ort wird ein "Corona-Zuschlag" in Höhe von 19,90 € erhoben, davon stand leider nichts im Inserat. Wasser soll laut Inserat inklusive sein, wir mussten pauschal pro Kopf am Tag 2,-€ bezahlen.
