Amazing beach stay

The Kid is the perfect beach get away. From the location and direct access to the beach to the roof top deck to watch the sunsets. My family and I had an amazing time and can’t wait to book again next summer!

If you’re looking for a beachhouse close to Oxnard, Malibu and Santa Barbara this is you’re place. Beach and sea view and situated on a slow traffic road. Lots of beach necessities, toys for the kids, and great central location.The kitchen is fully equipped. We don’t have any recommendations and would highly recommend this property for next travelers.

This is second stay at The Kid. This place is even more than advertised. The communication with the host is outstanding. The house is beyond clean, has every amenity you could imagine. The location is very quiet and safe. I will definitely be back for year three!!

This property was exactly how it is advertised. It's well appointed and clean. The location is everything. Perfect house for a family or two couples. I loved the view and would go back in a minute!! Great place, Great location

After looking extensively for a house near Hollywood Beach, we chose The Kid over other properties because of its great reviews. We were not disappointed. Accommodations were great, the kitchen was well appointed, and even the inside of the washing machine was clean (not leaving residue on black clothes like many others I've used while away). We had high winds for the first part of our stay, so it was great to have the nice, bright and open living spaces at The Kid with a view to beach from indoors. Sandy was a responsive host, and graciously provided a late check-out so we could enjoy our last day there once the winds had died down. Overall we had a great time and would recommend The Kid to others.

Outstanding Beach Home!

An outstanding beach home, with an ocean front view! Accommodations are superb with supplies and amenities in abundance. Extremely child friendly, games galore and an extremely well stocked kitchen. Although we did not have kids, I was so impressed with all the supplies and toys available if we did. The deck above gave us an amazing sunrise and sunset view each day. The house is filled with charm and warmth and fun. I've stayed in a few places, and this is one of the classiest ever. I hope to be returning soon. We've got wonderful memories of our 4 day-weekend and greatly appreciate the hostess' kindness and details that left us with absolutely nothing to worry about. Love, Love this place!

Second Time in Paradise

We stayed here two years ago and were so thrilled to do so again! As we remembered, the location across from the beach is top notch. Everything is spotlessly clean at check in, the "kid zone" downstairs is a dream. We love the rooftop and appreciate the new cushions! Sandy is fabulous and responsive, and we plan to book again for the future! The only small thing that could use improvement is the bed situation in the smaller of the two upstairs bedrooms. The "bookcase bed" is pretty small and whoever sleeps there ends up rolling into the bookcase, which isn't ideal. Utilizing the trundle bed underneath is very difficult (puling it out actually made the main bed's mattress fall down through the slats) and once it is out you can't get it back in - which is not great since that door is the only access to the rooftop patio. I think swapping that out for regular queen size bed would do WONDERS for everyone's comfort. Still, we'd not hesitate to stay here again in a heartbeat. Such a gem!

Excellent place for our girls weekend. Great views and location. House was stocked with everything we needed (beach chairs, umbrella, sand mat, beach towels). Loved that it was walking distance to the local café and a few restaurants/hotels. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The home is beautiful with great ocean view views. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the games and had a good supply of kids toys. Communication with property manager was very quick. I hope to stay there again. Highly recommended.

Great Beach house in quiet neighborhood.

It is a beautiful house right across the atreet from the beach. It had a beautiful view from the up stairs dining room. I stayed here with eight people teenagers to adult and their was plenty of room.
