Posted 22-Sep-2016
Pros:
Location:

Quirky, but nice

Posted 23-Aug-2016
The new owner had just taken over the week we arrived, and was a bit frazzled, but this is a cute little B&B. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with a lovely little outdoor seating area in the back.

Jeg manglede bl.a.

Wonderful place for a no frills stay in Oxford.

Posted 10-Jul-2016
Location: Short walk to town. I was mostly at St. Hugh's which was about 30 min walk. It was lovely in the morning.
I stayed here while attending a conference at the University. My room was clean and I had a bathroom in my room , which is always nice. The breakfast in the morning was also a nice touch (A variety of breakfast cereals, granola, yogurt, cold meat, cheeses, fruit salad, toast, and the like). What made this stay really awesome was the staff. The Manager Sean was beyond friendly and so helpful. Remember, this is a guest house, not a hotel. So there is not 24 hour front desk, but if you know that going into it (don't just think you can drop in at 1 AM and get a room) you will be fine. Even if you cannot make the standard window for check in (i did not) just call ahead and let Sean know what you need. He will get you taken care of.

very comfortable b&b near downtown Oxford

Posted 11-May-2016 on Orbitz
Pros: It had great character, but was spotless. Our room was small, but adequate. Our daughter's room was a bit bigger.
Cons: The top thing for me would be to clean the carpets. They were stained, but always vaccumed. And perhaps this has been done since our visit.
Location: It was about a 5 minute walk to downtown Oxford and about 3 minutes to access the walking paths along the river with multiple pubs nearby.
My husband and daughter spent 4 nights here and had a delightful time. The B&B is older, but very clean. The carpet is stained but everything else is spotless. Our breakfasts were very good; fresh fruit, bakery, choice of entre, juices, etc. The morning hostess was delightful and her recommendations for evening meals were spot on! Through her we found great places nearby, we did not rent a car nor find the need for one. It was about a 5 minute walk to downtown Oxford.

Fast zentraler, gemütlicher Aufenthalt in Oxford

Awful

The worst customer service ever. The continental breakfast was just a name. The room smells like hell. Please do not go there if there is another one you can.

Nifty B & B

Posted 12-Apr-2016
Pros: The staff made me feel welcome.
Location: B & B is located near Oxford City Centre. Transportation--rail, bus, cab stands nearby. Many tours in and out of Oxford.
I stayed to attend a symposium at Oxford University. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even provided special foods due to food allergies. Good wi-fi. Was able to Skype family daily without problems. Eateries and activities within easy walking distances. Bus stop also nearby. Clean, comfortable rooms.
