Pros: Everything! Decor, bed, cleanliness, staff, breakfast (see above).
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything that would have improved my experience.
Location: A short walk from the station, a slightly longer walk into Oxford centre. Oxford is beautiful.
The Osney Arms was a pleasant walk from the railway station. The room was delightful and extremely clean. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Decor throughout the room and the rest of the guest house was attractive, characterful, and in keeping with the age and style of the property. We were sent a text prior to our arrival to give us information about check in and very helpful directions to find the guest house. The proprietress and all the staff (particularly the lady at breakfast) couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a feast! A taxi was ordered for us at check out, and we were able to leave our bags to collect before heading to the station much later in the day. There is a lovely atmosphere throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice B&B hotel close to Oxford Train Station

Posted 15-Jun-2017
Pros: Our room was very clean and comfortable.
Location: You will enjoy walking in the lovely town of Oxford to see its beautiful buildings (Colleges) and be sure to tour Oxford Castle.
The Orsney Arms is in a terrific location and easy to locate. Walking distance from the Oxford train station and all the interesting sights the beautiful town of Oxford has to offer. This is a bed and breakfast which offers you the opportunity to meet and converse with fellow travelers each morning.

Great location

Posted 29-May-2017
Pros: Location. Easy access.
Cons: Not much parking if you have a car. For us it seemed a bit overheated to be comfortable during warm weather in the bedroom and breakfast room.
Location: Easy walk to the main sights. Bus outside if required. Supermarket close by. Had a really great meal at The One restaurant close by.
Staff xcellent..particularly Ann and Maria. Extremely helpful in all areas.

Great, like home, clean, and friendly staff

Posted 28-Mar-2017
This B&B was a ten minute walk from the train station. When we arrived, our room was setup with a child cot and another cot for our two toddlers, as requested. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. Anne was very friendly and made the place feel like home. We really enjoyed the breakfast which included fresh prepared coffee, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, and cereal, bread, and croissants. We will stay here again if ever in Oxford. a

Everything was really good. I would have like a desk for my computer work, but that was acceptable.

Inconvenient parking and no cooked breakfast

Posted 26-Dec-2016 on Hotels
No parking on site at all except illegal mount kerb parking. Adequate cleanliness in room but had a few knocks on my head as it was an attic room with the slanted roof at foot of bed! Had a misunderstanding regarding the room type, was given a twin room with shared bath-tub room instead of ensuite. And there was no shower facility in bathtub too. Quite amazing really, for them to charge same price I booked for the room, without offering a discount for the wrong room type. And I only got some money back after writing in my complaint. Don't expect an English breakfast here either for that price, they only serve Continental brekkie!
