It is an older hotel renovated to the BW chain. Room were ok. They were clean but the building is dated. There is musty smell in the corridors though room were ok. I want to recognise Raj from the house keeping staff who was excellent and very helpful. Give that guy a raise!

Bed was firm and the couch showed quite a bit of wear and tear. Bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The floors were not very clean and do not look under the bed or the end tables. (We accidentally dropped the remote 😳) Walls are a bit thin we could hear a lot of noise in the hallway. The breakfast options were pretty good but go early or it is chaos. It's an ok place to lay your head after touring around the little towns surrounding lake Huron.

We were very surprised at the kitchen that was part of our room, and noticed that there were dishes and supplies that would be helpful when travelling. Just one complaint, and that was those that stay for work through the week (I assume) and leave very early (5:30 - 6:00 a.m.) need to remember that there are others there on vacation that don't want to be woken up that early. We were in a front room, and it did wake us up each morning. The rest of the stay was good. We enjoyed the breakfast, and found there was lots of items to choose from. Room was cleaned but no hook in shower to put clothing. We booked a room with kitchen, but only a pan was there, no pots. Staff found some pot for us on the next day. Breakfast was poor , no boiled eggs, no fruits, yogurt not every day. Much worse compare to the previous year. But staff was very attentive and tried to help, very good.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The hallways and room were not cleaned well. The wifi in our room never did work. You could see where the wifi extenders in the hall way had been removed and when I told the front desk our wifi didn’t work they said they would reset it, which of course didn’t work. We had friends staying further down the hall where there was a wifi extender and the wifi on my device worked fine. The tv channels kept freezing up while we were watching and would stay that way up to 2 minutes before the program came back on. We did not enjoy the free breakfast either. This is the first time I have ever written a poor review on a hotel stay Hopefully this will help improve someone else’s experience.

Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was okay but it has gone downhill. Used to have pots of decaf coffee. Now, instant decaf. Used to have pastries but now just small muffins. Television reception was terrible!! Really annoying noises coming from the television on every station. Barely watchable. Price of stay was good but glad we didn’t spend more than we did.
