"The rooms were very dated and had not been upgraded for decades. The carpet was lifted and patched around the room, there was a huge gap in my room door, the beds were definitely in need of new mattresses as one was caved in in the room i was in, the gym equipment was not functional and and could not be used, the pool was great looking but we didn't get a chance to use it, the location was good with easy access to many areas and beautiful views, but some homeless activity and a street over a lot of drug activity. It definitely needs a lot of upgrades to be satisfactory for the price you pay."

"Perfection from the first step into the lobby to the room. My only suggestion would be to let guests make reservations to the cafe as they book to secure a place for dinner, breakfast or brunch. "

"When I booked on line I specified a room with 2 beds. On check in I asked and it was confirmed - a room with 2 beds and a pull out couch. On entering the room it was one bed and a terrible pull out sofa. discussions with management were met with poor reponse - this was the expedia room and we can't do anything. For the 4 days we stayed the room was not cleaned ever. We asked about this at Customer Service 3 times and were told "Oh Yes - we clean every day". It was never cleaned. We had to go to the front desk to request toilet paper, soap and towels. The attitude at Front Desk was Meh - oh well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone which is sad because the location is fine."
