We loved our stay at View Lodge! The owner was so kind and welcoming - she offered us local recommendations and helped us with everything we needed. The site has free bikes to use and kayaks or ping pong available for rent. We ate breakfast at the restaurant - it was affordable and delicious. Very traditional Japanese foods and preparation. The owners make all the food themselves! The onsen and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great views of the lake from our room! There was mens/women’s bathrooms on each floor (not in the room) but this is typical for most traditional Japanese hotels. We hope to go back someday!
