It was clean and so close to the station that it is impossible to miss. Convenient grocery and take away options nearby, as well as restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and held our bags since we arrived in Kyoto before check in time. The hotel was conveniently located near a train station and several convenience stores. Only complaint was that the bathroom was on a steep step that was not labeled.
