Pretty cool hotel on a great street.

I stayed here with my family while visiting Oslo. We really liked the design/decor of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. It's located on a street with plenty of shopping and restuarant options. It only takes 15 minutes by tram to get to the downtown/waterfront area and the trams run continuously.

Location and breakfast

Friendly staff great breakfast and an awesome area. Staying close to the road can be noisy with cars and bars, but you can stay on opposite side which is very quiet.

I booked a single room, and although it was quite small, I was out all day, so it was perfectly fine just for sleeping. If you’re traveling to Oslo in the summer and have trouble sleeping when it’s bright, you should definitely bring a sleep mask, even though there were blinds. The breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were super friendly and polite.

On-site staff were very helpful, I didn’t have to wait until check-in time to get to my room as they had some open and I was admitted immediately. Breakfast was also good. The room was spacious as well.

Pretty good location - walkable and convenient to transpo. A tasty array at breakfast, especially the breads, potatoes, and homemade beans, but go early as food is only lukewarm after sitting out for hours. I enjoyed the view from my 8th floor room, which was very small for the price, but clean and sufficient.

The Buffet breakfast was great and sets you up for a day’s exploring.Free teas and coffees available as well in the lounge upstairs.There is a tram station or subway station within a short walk that will get you anywhere.

Wonderful breakfast at a very cool restaurant, very clean room, the day shift front desk staff was great, the night shift not so much they were a little bit rude, but overall the hotel is wonderful. Good location too close to shopping and easy access to public transportation.
