"Gurung's Home has truly become my home away from home. I stay here - nowhere else! - whenever i'm in Kathmandu. The staff is the family, and they are so welcoming, and able to help me with my transportation issues. It is a little bit hard for the taxis to find the address, because Google Maps directs them to a pedestrian street. But about five minutes out of the way, and you can find it. The location is cool because the bustling city is right nearby, but the hotel is on a quiet side street....

"A very good stay in Kathmandu! The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit. E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this hotel!"
